If we could sort this deal out early, i'd go for it:-

Sounds too ridiculously good to be true though.saludo de carlitos wrote:If we could sort this deal out early, i'd go for it:-

Selling two of your better players when you are bottom of the table is always a good idea.

Re: January 2011 Transfer rumour thread
I'd go for that provided the deal was concluded during the first half of the window. There's no point in losing CC without the chance to replace him.
Not that it will happen of course. Mrs. B. wants to go back to Italy, so she'll put the kybosh on a big-money move to Liverpool

Re: January 2011 Transfer rumour thread
not a rumour but two of my mates who are celtic season ticket holders have not stopped raving about Juarez.....if behrami is still keen to go in the summer maybe we could sell him and straight replace with Juarez.....? looks head and shoulders above that league and feels like a missed opportunity at the moment (although appreciate that other areas need strengthening too)

If we keep what we've got while getting Collison and Hines back to full fitness I'll be more than happy

Liverpool don't have £18m to spend they have very big problems, the last 4 windows have seen them trade players for profit a clear sign of struggling financially and need of new ownership.

Liverpool, a real place with real people.
So with that in mind......
Liverpool FC welcome to the real world of football, with a real transfer policy, hope you get eaten up by the monster you helped create and encourage.
Lets hope we get to see how really good their support is.

Re: January 2011 Transfer rumour thread
gabbs continued strong performances and the impact made by a certain dane at right back suggest to me that a left back may be on the agenda in January.
wouldn't be surprised to see Ilunga added to the list of usual expected outgoing candidates - behrami, kovac, perhaps faubert, perhaps benni mac and hopefully spector....
obinna is looking more and more like a second striker to me so maybe we should also be looking for a left midfielder (not centre left like LBM, Hitz or O'Hara would be if Grant still intends to go in for him at some point)...perhaps Barrera could have a chat with Guardado.......

Re: January 2011 Transfer rumour thread
Ahhh Just found this...
I read that maybe Carew and Kranjcar would be available in the Jan window...I would be interested, a bit more quality in midfield and experience up front...
there thats better.
