RARS - you still chuntering away insisting that your opinion is right and somehow fact?

Just as you did when you were equally adamant that flogging Bellamy was brilliant business because all players lost their pace as they blew the candles out on their 30th birthday cake.....

Time will tell.

Liverpool signing Andy Carroll might be good business.

I might be wrong but isn't Bellamy playing in the second tier right now and not scoring many goals?
Maybe his legs have gone just like rars said!

One of them will be right!!

I think Liverpool have done well, Torres was unhappy and consequently, his form suffered. By selling him they have replaced him with two strikers including a big front man something they have lacked for a long time.

carrolls price is relative - i reckon he'll score more than suarez and add more to the team
if he scores the goals that gets them in the CL this season then he's a bargain - not impossible
whether liverpool fans will like playing to his strengths is another matter.....

besides he's about the same price as we ended up paying for tevez.....

back on west ham, don't understand why we didn't let ilunga go yesterday if he was being left out of the squad - even if only in exchange for a martin keown 1986 panini sticker (which I recall everyone had)....some french clubs must have been interested at a price of nil....he must cost us nearly a mill in wages a year and can't see us getting more than that in a transfer fee

great window on the whole - would have been perfect if we'd got sidwell (still think we look weak in centre mid despite potentially loads of bodies) and think Aaron Martin from southampton looks like he'd be a great partner for tomkins (very dominating, strong aerial, organising style from what I've been told by some saints fans) so hope we go back in for him in the summer

Can we still get him back from Pompey on loan?

I know he is favoured by Grant.

What is the situation with Wes Brown? Could that be a loan deal still to be done?
I think the loan market is still open

If Pompey releases him and he becomes a "free agent" we can get him in but whats the point since the squad has been submitted?

Amazing that they paid £35m when you consider Nolan in the same team scored the same amount last season and 1 less this.

Guardian journo on Twitter says we are in some sort of contract dispute with TBH according to the Pompey manager. Any ideas?
