What part don't you agree with? That he made the most mistakes leading to goals? DC linked an article from the BBC backing that claim up.

If he made lots of mistakes that indicates he was incosistent, no?

People amaze me how little they know...
That was from the 09/10 season.

I don't believe he made the most mistakes last season, he was fantastic for us and if he made that many mistakes I'd remember them :eh:

And for the record I didn't say he was bad (you can scroll to the top of the page and check), just that he was inconsistent.

He made more mistakes last season than the one before.. I think he was better last season but more inconsistent, if that makes sense?

I'm fairly sure he also made the most mistakes in the league last year as well. Do you not remember any of his mistakes?

Nah .

Some Turkish mob made a bid for Carlton, but the club turned it down .Green pulled out of the England squad , but will be fine for Saturday .
We signed Bentley on loan from Spurs, flogged them Parker and brought in Demel from Hamburg and Lansbury on loan from the gunners .

12 in in total , about 20 or so out .

We'll win the division .Probably .

I remember a few at the start when he was recovering from the world cup and the one against Wigan but I don't remember many other than that

I won 150 euros in a Spanish lottery. My wife spent it on shoes (Imelda Marcos was an amateur).
Apart from that, not much happened.

I like Green but at the same time i think it was about 90% his fault that we lost all the opening games of last season.

90%... wow... is that stastically significant at a 90%, 95% or 99% level?

I love it when people apply meaningless statistics...

So you only allow 10% blame to Grant who fielded newly signed Winston Reid out of position at right back up against Young/Downing, whilst moving Tomkins back into centre half having played him at right back for most of pre-season?

Easily the best keeper weve had over the past 10 years, by a country mile!

The stat alleges that Green made the most mistakes that lead to goals. It does not take into account the amount of mistakes that were hacked off the line by William Gallas.

Green did not make the most mistakes last season.

I'd be interested to see how many points these supposed mistakes by Green actually cost us. I would suggest that he was solely responsible for the four points we gained against Spurs.

He certainly earned the clean sheet at UP. I would argue that Upson and Bridge were responsible for the clean sheet at WHL though.

They both did certainly play a huge part in that clean sheet, but as a defining moment (which all of the alleged mistakes that these statistics point to are said to be) I'm thinking of the world class save from Bale's free kick in the second half.

My general feeling at the beginning of last season was that Green and Upson cost us all those loses.
But yea, Green is world class on his day.

Not sure what that was but it seemed like quite a bit of our players are emotional, it's like something is stuck in their head and then for the next 5-10 games they wouldn't preform. I think that was the case with Green, Cole and Upson.

I'm sure people will say that all players depend on their emotions but my point is that it seems very obvious with those 3. (thankfully Upson left)
