Rich pickings from the loan window

Ten players left off their clubs lists in the prem -

From Stoke - Danny Collins, Tom Soares, Danny Pugh, Michael Tonge and Andrew Davies

From QPR - Rob Hulse, Patrick Agyemang, Hogan Ephraim, Danny Shittu and Petter Vaagan Moen

Thats it!!!

Danny Collins... Good cover at LB and CB where we are a little short IMO.

I thought Tom Soares was going to be one to watch , the bits I saw of him at Palace .

None of those 10 would get into our team. Collins might be useful as a squad player, but that's about it from there.

I'll answer this one...

very likely.

But yea, Green is world class on his day.

Not sure what that was but it seemed like quite a bit of our players are emotional, it's like something is stuck in their head and then for the next 5-10 games they wouldn't preform. I think that was the case with Green, Cole and Upson.

I'm sure people will say that all players depend on their emotions but my point is that it seems very obvious with those 3. (thankfully Upson left)

Lack of mental toughness. Very apparent in Carlton Cole IMO. One of the big reasons for his transformation under Zola was down to a change in his mindset pre game I think. Something to do with being an animal. He seemed to lose that once Zola left. Hopefully a year bullying inferior defenders will plant it permanantly into his brain.

Any of them would do a job as cover at this level. Danny Collins probably the pick. As was mentioned previously, he has some useful versatility.

We can loan in players from 8 September to 25 November and also from 8 February until 24 March.

If Chelsea are prepared to loan Lukaku out,as is being reported in the Sun today, we really need to be first in the queue.Anyone else in would be to cover injuries or loss of form in positions with no adequate cover (FBs,CBs and LW) imo.

The story in the sun says that they'll loan them out to another PL team in Jan.

Also, specifically says:

"A number of ambitious Championship clubs have also made enquiries to take the duo when the Football League's loan window opens tomorrow.

But Chelsea want them to gain top-flight experience."

That's four months away, until then, surely they are better off getting competative games in the Championship than in Chelsea reserves?

I forgot about Tonge I was at the game where they beat us 3-0 and I said to my mate he is to close to score from that Free Kick (ie hit wall or over bar) and he just leathered it in off the underside of the bar. He used to be quite a good player esp at champ level.

The problem is if we get Ramano on loan I can't but help think that some of the big teams might demand first option on Tomkins.
