Even if his contract at Norwich is in dispute any mention of our job would definately be to give Delia a kick up the arse. After what he has done there in the last 2 seasons, I cannot see them letting him go so easily. Reckon he will easily get a year in the Premiership. Back to square one.
The guy's ambitious, so it may be as much about what money Norwich put up for transfers as about his personal compensation - leading a team that may get relegated first year up is not something he probably wants on his CV. If the Dave's give him a decent contract and a promise of some wonga to spend, then he might consider it. Given he's supposed to be his clone, if he's as obsessed with his image as MON is then leading two clubs in consecutive years to promotion might be the type of thing that appeals to him. Until he rules himself out, he'd be my first choice

I didn't realise Hughton was in charge of the Spuds for 6 games and only lost one of them..... Quite interesting. And in the 80 games in total he has managed he has only lost 19. Maybe I rubbished him too quickly.

However my vote still goes to Big Fat Sam.

All depends what happens in his meeting with his employeres today .....I will be lumping a wedge on him if hes shown the door.

Dont want him here but the board have shown their colours and I wouldnt trust their judegement or integrity. Wouldnt surprise me at all if hes leading the team out at the start of next season .... as long as Rangers give him the elbow that is

I've got money on Tony Carr at 50s. Needless to say I'd be happier than pretty much anyone, ever, if he's given the job

He'd want to bring all of his backroom staff with him. Would be expensive.

O'Neill and Villa in arbitration at the moment. Might have to wait until that is over before he shows his hand.

Being able to vote for 2 rather than 1 would paint a clearer picture.

What you headbangering about? I'd personally be over the moon if we got a decent manager who is known for overachieving. And before you or anyone says 'but he plays horrible football' try to think of the last time we was playing nice football and winning football matches

We would be lucky to get Fat Sam in. Unfortunately I can't see him dropping down a division

Given the reasonable quality of candidates (O'Neill, Allardyce, Hughton, Carr, all of which are decent) and the fact that we wont be hiring Avram Grant. It seems almost impossible that we will f*** this appointment up, doesnt it?
