Apparently there has been a stack of money bet on Walter Smith

As I said yesterday, he has been on the news up here saying that a Premier team was after him in January but he wanted to end his reign at Rangers before considering his next move.

Ok maybe the headbanging is a bit strong but he's just not for me...

Call me an old romantic but I just want to see us head back to the good old days. Guts 'n' all defending with a bucket load of flair thrown in. You won't get the latter with Big Sam, eventhough I will agree it is possible he could get us back up.

I want to be entertained each week by players that care about West Ham. Whoever gets the job has got to get the team playing for eachother and ultimately for us. We need someone who can nurture the young talent aswell.
