Re: Manager XIV [POLL Two]
MON doesn't want the job. If he did he would have taken it in January.
Big Fat Sam still gets my vote. I just hope he is not an unrealistic target......

The more I think about it, the more Chris Hughton as manager appeals to me.

Re: Manager XIV [POLL Two]
Originally I said Curbs, but that should Carr actually be interested then he'd be my number 1 choice. It appears he's very interested so Carr it is

Re: Manager XIV [POLL Two]
I've gone for Sam as well, as I don't think he is as one dimensional as some people think.
Very worried though by the fact that our mate Colin's odds appear to have been shortening during today

Gone for Tony Carr, if he was up for it then i see no real reason to turn him down. I'm not against Kevin Keen either to be honest.

Re: Manager XIV [POLL Two]
We still need an experienced manager, so I have again voted for Fat Sam. Curbs would be my second choice.
Carr is unproven and should stick to what he has done so well for so many years.
Hughton did a good job at newcastle but he didn't lose any players when Newcastle were relegated. I'm not sure how he would manage with us when we are likely to lose a lot of our key players.
MON, won't come to us.

Re: Manager XIV [POLL Two]
I voted for Hughton.
He has already achieved immediate automatic promotion with the Barcodes.
He is English and once played for us which will give him an understanding of us and our club.
He worked under Mike Ashley so working for GaS should be a doddle.
He comes across as a decent bloke (to me this is important), there was little or no histrionics on the touch-line or with the press, if his team played badly he said so. He did not point the finger at others ala Wenger/Warnock.

POLL II: this time it's personal.
My clear first choice isn't on there (Lambert) so I'm going to have to think about it - MON, Carr and Hughton all have a certain appeal and all have downsides. Curbs and Allardyce can jog on however

... which is what we're going to get if the worrying stories about Dave Jones are true. He couldn't get Cardiff over the line, why would he do any better at West Ham?
Of the choices we were given, tho, I went with Hughton ... for pretty much the same reasons as Suzanne - so thanks for saving me the trouble!

Continuing to abstain as I'm not particuarly enthused by any of the options. If I really had to chose it would be one of either MON or the Walrus.

Re: Manager XIV [POLL Two]
The question isn't who do you think will come, it is who do you want, MON prob didn't want to come after the massive cock-up made of the approach.
MON is head and shoulders above everyone else if you ask me. Hopefully we can twist his arm.
