Lots of rumours of Greeno leaving, Will we replace him or will Henderson take on the number 1 role?

As a goalkeeper what about Courtois on loan, he said he wants to go on loan in the Premiership next year.

Top players get near enough Premier League whack.

But a lot of decent talent, especially younger lads, on average Championship terms or worse.

Good goalkeepers cost peanuts.

N'Zonzi would be great I reckon. Same job as O'Neil. Lukaku on loan would be good.
Definitely need to ship out some players though. Carew, Piq, Sears, Diop, Faye, Faubert, sadly Greeno. Raise funds, make room.

Puff Daddy wrote:I remember when we used to have a paid scout in Norway and Sweden and I think the geezer held this post for around 10 years and so far as I am able to recall, during all that time, I don't think he so much as recomended one single, solitary player to us, yet throughout this period, countless Scandianavian players, including many who went on to grace the Premiership, slipped through his network to go to other clubs. This, therefore, begs the question, just what the hell did he do with his time ? Small wonder, we finally realised this guy was doing the sum of nothing and sent him packing
Ragavald Soma - Blackburn Rovers 7-1 West Ham, that's what he done with his time.

Who is this mysterious person anyway Puffy and do you have anything to back up what you're saying ??

Can I please be the first in the have no concept of reality on this thread please.

Drogba - on a free (would be great back up for Cole, sit him on the bench and come on in the final 10 minutes when Cole is knackered)

Caroll - obviously not happy at Liverpool could be worth a cheeky 500K bid

Scholes- out of contract , and for the right terms eg $5K a week( Collison could learn a lot from him).

Kaka- seems to have lost his mojo now he is not the main man , might be worth approaching him and him being the key playmaker in our midfield might appeal to him , (although this might hinder Nobles game so i am not keen on this).

Every single player not in the Manchester City starting 11 on loan (city pay 100% of their wages)

and of course Tevez who has always prostituted himself to the highest bidder surely will come back to us if we offer him and his agent 1/20th of his market value.

All of the above plus Daves spend the 90 Million of the promotion money on transfers.

A lot is riding on Saturday's result, not least the number of posts we'll have to read in this thread that end '_____ could do a job'.

That is just it, Bobby, nobody knew who this mysterious person was, other than he did the precisely f*** all. Regarding my substantiating it, if I were able to re-access all the posts about it on OLAS all those years ago, I could, but alas, I cannot, so you will just have to take my word for it, or maybe some others on here may recall it all.

I hope we up our interest in Snodgrass. Definately wouldn't mind him added to the midfield. I do think we need a right back for cover for Demel as Faubert is pretty much half way back to France anyway. Not sure who is out there that could come in. Maybe Gunter is worth a punt?

Oh God. Its this time of the year again. I shall make my only contribution to this thread right now. Which, as will undoubtedly be the case for an approximate 95% of the 500 pages or so that will follow, will amount to absolutely nothing.
