Madness, we actually sold a player for more than we bought him for once.
Alough i don't have any evidence to back this up, i always though Maynard came across as a bit of an ****hole and a right smug git in interviews, Norway i'm sure what you were saying was posted on here, i remember it, i remember a few reports damning his character.

I'll bow to your superior knowledge Bob, I thought anyone with the word 'Agent' in their name had been discredited :)

Thought the pictures outside the Stoke ground were brilliant. 4am here and i was pissing myself with laughter. I can now confirm that they were all extras from the reality TV program swamp people.

No. He is crap. I seriously doubt whether he could cut it in the Championship.

can't be worse than linda, got ripped to shreds in the swansea game, he's a real weak link in the side. don't know why we didn't make an attempt to sign martin olsson from blackburn.

Only if it's in the contract and I doubt it is, as we paid a loan fee.

What a great window. We've built a decent squad. Hopefully we can have a good season and obviously stay up because we have great foundations to build on. We wont need 10 new players next time assuming we stay up, which means more money can be spent on each player and we can bring more quality into the team taking us up a level.

Del Pierro Signed with Sydney FC in the A-League.

Graig Gordon would be a good pickup, a lot better than any keepers we have at the moment.

FWIW I think some people have been a bit harsh re Maynard, he even said a few nice things about us as fans. I try and take as I find and if you want arrogant then there are one or two much bigger c**** on here. Some have slated the Daves too but can anyone remember a better window? I have a feeling we will get Mensah too which would be amazing. All in all I am very happy with the owners work and would like to thank then for backing the manager.

Whilst revelling in some positive signing for us, I couldn't help but raise a smile looking at what happened to some of Dalglish's signings for our dear friends on Merseyside. Carroll off on loan with clearly no long-term future there, Adam off to Stoke, Henderson and Downing both offered out on loan and were close to joining Villa. How the yanks must regret the day they were conned into appointing that out-of-touch, surly little git and watching his dubious judgement blow the best part of £80m on players who subsequently have not worked out.

I would laugh my arse off but alas, the real money at QPR is Lakshmi Mittal, who is Britain's wealthiest individual. So unless he pulls the plug, they are safe despite their frivolous spending.

Re Maynard, he always looked a decent bloke, applauding the fans handing out his training tops to kids etc, not sure he deserves slagging off
