Remember Bristol told us how much of a c*** Maynard is (regarding a charity-event for children IIRC).

If the story was true, I'm happy we don't have a person like him in our ranks.

Other than that, decent player but not good enough to lead the line for us.

Will be interesting to see whether he's still with them at this time next year, should they gain promotion.

Waste of money, wasn't good enough last season, and certainly not good enough for this season, even as a bench warmer. Probably wrong but i always thought he came across as a bit arrogant aswell. YWN, maybe it was a tad harshly worded :lol:

Yep, i wanted us to loan him out for a season to see how well he does before deciding weather to flog or keep. I also wanted us to keep him as he may of been usefull. Shame really, i bet Yossi could've fed his runs, anyway, enough of the what if's, the Baldock orgy is over!

I'm sorry, I've tried to look back on bristolhammerfc posts, but I can't find what he actually wrote at that time (before we signed Maynard).

Don't remember in detail, but the player in question was not reported to act as a role model when meeting the kids, more to the extent of "get me out of this **** place".

I was of course never there, but took credence in our moderator's report.

Anyway, that should not be the determining factor at all, but when he's gone, at least I can say: "Good riddance in an ethical and moral way."

totally agree with you muddy, baldock had a hunger about him. he's a natural goalscorer who i thought could of been very useful this season

Madness, we actually sold a player for more than we bought him for once.
Alough i don't have any evidence to back this up, i always though Maynard came across as a bit of an ****hole and a right smug git in interviews, Norway i'm sure what you were saying was posted on here, i remember it, i remember a few reports damning his character.
