The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme

Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
Tel the problem with Hammer110 is you dared to insult his knights in shining armour. Some people can't see the wood for the trees, bring up any lies or wrong doings by the board and certain people freak out, don't know if they are related to G%S or they just see them as celebrities and want to praise them whenever they can. I was at a fans forum and David Gold walked in the room and everyone started clapping like he was some kind of hero, not as if he'd had his legs blown off by a IED in Iraq, just some millionaire who is making money from football
Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
Drama queens like buses, you wait ages for one and all of sudden there is a queue of them, sure the Dave's are not perfect but they are not the devil incarnate either, there are far easier ways to make money than take a near bankrupt football club and turn it round.
Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
that's right you could just sell porn to a load of w@nkers or dildos to a bunch of c*nts

This is not helpful and brings nothing to the thread/forum. Please desist, gentlemen.Hammer110 wrote:Drama queens like buses, you wait ages for one and all of sudden there is a queue of them

Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
Gold & Sullivan could have gained back some of the status they've lost over the last couple of years, why maybe even brought some more on their side in favour of an OS move.
One simple statement costing a few Quid on the Monday morning after the Play Off honouring the 20% discount, would have gone a hell of a long way.

I like the way pro-Dave`s say "they are not perfect" it`s a bit like calling the Kray twin`s "a little bit tempremental".
After a catalogue of errors, leaks and shafting of S/T holders I`ve got to wonder why any supporter continues to have baseless blind faith.
S+G are going to do the same as Terence Brown, find a foriegn mug to buy the club at an inflated price and ponce a place as Honoury life presidents of the club!
Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
Sometimes I don't understand who is advising "those" people - not just the Daves, I see so many outright illogical and stupid decisions in the world of football.... they knew from the get go that legally they are bound by the 20% offer. So why oh why not take the opportunity to openly communicate and positively push their 5% over 4 years offer. I wonder how many people opted for 20% just because of the shameful way the club has handled this matter.
Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
The thing is G+S are being hailed as the saviours, when they are a bunch of venture capitalists.
I`m such a fan of theirs and will be taking a leaf out of their book and demanding my 20%!

Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
This is the thing that gets me, surely they checked with someone and found out that this was a legally binding commitment soon after taking over the club? Given that they are supposedly good businessmen and a good business woman why not try to turn it into something positive rather than hoping people will forget or can be bullied into accepting something different? Offer the 5% for 4 years as an alternative, suggesting you might save more in the long run and that it would help the club's cashflow, and that is something that looks better than the way it has been handled.Pop Robson wrote:Gold & Sullivan could have gained back some of the status they've lost over the last couple of years, why maybe even brought some more on their side in favour of an OS move.

They do seem to f*** up their PR in the most basic of ways.

Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
Yet another email received from the club today, urging me to renew now, to get even Moore (sic) benefits.
Message to G&S - or your stooges that read this forum - I'm fed up with receiving emails what seems like every other day trying to scare me into renewing early. You can wait until the last moment for the money. You see, money's tight at the moment and I was relying on getting the 20% discount, but as you've reneged on that deal*, I need more time to gather the necessary funds. You'll see my renewal in the first week of July.
And on the following points in your email...
• 10% discount on ALL hospitality purchases - how many people do you think this will actually benefit? Certainly not me.
• Priority for ALL away match tickets - had that already
• 10% discount on official merchandise instore and online - can't afford merchandise now as I'll need to save the money to compensate for the loss of the 20% discount. Will also not buy programmes this year.
• Dedicated merchandise pre-order phone line to collect instore on matchday - see above
* yes I know I can get it if I ask, but I shouldn't have to, should I?

Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
Well said sir.....I agree with absoloutely everything you have posted and have done since day one, they only bought the club for Stratford!LYALL OUT wrote: Will G&S feel any guilt when they sail off into the sunset after selling us to some publicity seeking Johnny Foreigner in a few years time? Leaving us homeless, rattling around in a rented Olympic Stadium, and a play thing for someone who's bound to make Alexandre Gaydamak look like he knew what he was doing. You know, in fairness, that's when even I would say "well they propped up the club with their money, they are entitled to do what they like."
Anyone who thinks that is not their ultimate plan is living in a world of pixies and elves, because I don't think they would have walked in here when they did without the prospect of the Olympic Stadium. That barn has been there ultimate target from day one, and they are not even going to let a little matter like "ownership" stop them from moving there, or even asking us if we'd like to go there. Then, when we do get there, that's when they'll start looking to sell.
Please, don't buy into this "we're supporters just like you". If you had earnt the money they have in your life, you'd have still been going to West Ham, while they choose to sit in a directors box at Birmingham. Yes, they may well have stumped up for every other dodgy contact error that the Icelandic owners made since they came here, but they are playing the long game on this, but the 20% issue impacts on the group of people who don't deserve to be dicked about.
G&S are in a different league to everyone who walks in through the turnstiles, past their ostentatious Rolls, and they should be ashamed of themselves for even trying to justify welching on this deal. Sometimes you have to honour a bad quote, just to keep your face, that's part of business. So whichever way you choose to dress this up, it's still poor form. I've not added up how much money I've invested in West Ham over the years, but I wouldn't lord it over anyone else, who wasn't able to invest as much as I have done.
Even after the PR **** storm their email to season ticket holders created, they still send out the renewal pack with the same details? Well they can poke their begrudged 20% discount, my time has come for a 100% discount. It'll tug on the old heart strings, but from 2014-15 season, they'll be a few more of you signing from my hym sheet each following season.
Amen.

Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
I`m going out to Donetsk Saturday and hopefully wont be back until July,so I`m bracing myself for the barrage of e-mails from WHUFC telling me that my late renewal has cost the club it`s chance of signing Messi!
Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
I e-mailed the club saying I intend to give up my season ticket if/when we move to the Olympic Stadium so couldn't take them up on their offer of 5% over 4 years but I was happy to accept 10% over 2 years if it helped the club out. They replied that I could have the 20% and to ring them. I would of thought the 10% was better for them financially. Bit confusing to plead poverty when asking us to accept the 5% deal and not accept my meet you half way offer. I would like to take this opportunity to say well done to the 2 Daves, £480 for a season ticket really is value for money. Now I must go and wash my mouth out with soap and water.

Re: The 5 year ST Loyalty scheme
I'm all for helping the club and it's good that they are more switched on now in the commercial department. However not a day goes by without an e-mail trying to convince me how lucky I am , or to flog me something new. All sorts of wonderful "offers" from boxing, right through to the latest one , a show called Night Garden at the O2. But what I want to know is....................
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET AN E-MAIL APOLOGISING FOR THE EMBARRASSING WAY THE CLUB HAVE HANDLED THE 20% OFF SEASON TICKET FIASCO ?
