A serious question for the 'Yes' people. Do you think by moving we're going to be swooped up by oil gazillionairs and become the new Man City?

I've flipped to undecided.

If it turns into what they've promised - seats over the track, a full roof and no shared ownership during the season - then I believe most fans, including regular attendees, would now support it. I want us to do what the majority want us to do after revelation of the plans.

I am still of the view, however, that they will probably fudge it.

Of course not. I'm sure it would make us a more attractive proposition to any potential investor though.

It's understood that our Owners looked at Newcastle, Liverpool, Everton and ourselves with City standing out because of the Stadium and the potential to develop the area around it. We've now got the new football academy on the way etc. I'm not confident this would've happened had we still been at Maine Road.

No. The stadium is still as unsuitable as it always was.
I'm sure the two Daves and club employee Brady will be more than happy to quote Kumb's current poll now it has swung in their favour.
Cant believe that so many people have been taken in by the Olympic hype.

Absolutely not. Just because we are the right tenants for the Olympic stadium doesn't mean it is the right stadium for us.

Almost all the arguments I have heard so far are fallacies. And the main way the club are selling it to current fans (cheaper tickets) rings hollow when you have new players paraded in front of pictures of Canary Wharf. Until Season Ticket holders have been consulted it will be a no from me.

If Brady et al want to quote a poll then they need to do one of all ST holders. (and maybe members too). I do not believe this poll is representative of the fans who attend. As someone has said a few pages ago, no-one around him wants to move, and I have the same around where I sit.

And yes, it does appear that everyone is caught up in the Olympics euphoria. The stadium, if we get it, will be nothing like it is now and will not be packed every week with 80,000 happy, screaming partisan fans - the atmosphere will be nothing like it was in August. We can't even get a good atmosphere going at the Boleyn nowadays! The area around the stadium will be different too - some of the stadia currently there are being removed so will be less appealing than it was during the Olympics. It will also look less appealing on a freezing cold, wet winters day. Time to take off the Olympic tinted glasses.

BTW, I am not totally against, just want to see what we're actually gonna get before I decide.

I've always been open to moving but I want our club to play in a football stadium, that's what our fans deserve as a bare minimum. If this is not whats on offer then it's a no for me.
I've been to the stadium and got to say that I was surprised by its compactness, but it's still not fit for football and I have huge reservations that our owners will do the right thing by the fans more importantly I doubt very much that the owners will agree to move on the terms they have already pledged;
1) Seats to be no further than what we have now at UP
2) Roof to cover all seats
3) Not to share during the football season

It appears that many are now of the mindset that if we do not move to Stratford then the club will go to the wall and end up in the Dr Martens league etc, god only knows how weve allowed this to happen!

G&S sell Upton Park
G&S take money from sale to pay back their investment and take a large profit
WHU rent the Olympic stadium which is completely unsuitable for Football
WHU pay £10m per year
We have no naming rights, we have no guaranteed income from concessions, we lose our home
G&S say they love West Ham but they love a buck more

Open your eyes people, we are sleep walking into becoming Coventry. We will be bust within 5 years

and its too far from the Black Lion

The figures are yet to be confirmed, but one thing is for sure....... £10m per year rent is unsustainable in the championship.

Whereas the WHU's view one was slated from all angles.

I've never voted before, but would have been undecided if I had.

I'm still undecided.

If it were a poll on taking the stadium as it is now, having been in there, it would be a definate NO. But seeing that we don't know how it will be if and when we do move in I can't vote anything other than UNDECIDED.
