Would like an out and out winger. Think we're good for every other position.

Re: January 2015 Transfer Window - News & Rumours
Song has told the French press that he wanted to go back to Arsenal but they were not interested (ditto Fabregas).
"I could play in the Champions League in Italy, Napoli, Roma, or in Turkey. I could have played for Marseille but my priority was to return to England, for me and the family. I discovered a club that I did not know but it's working well."

Ah the old "Newcastle in for Tompkins" story yet again. Reid on his way so link Tomps with a move too. What utter journalistic bollox!

Former Spurs defender Vedran Corluka eyeing Premier League return with Everton and West Ham interested
Vedran Corluka is on the verge of returning to the Premier League.
The former Spurs and Manchester City defender is currently at Lokomotiv Moscow – and the Russian club value him at around £4.8million.
He was signed from Tottenham for £5.5m in June 2012 but would now welcome a move back to England – alerting the likes of West Ham, Southampton, Hull and Everton.
“Vedran is excited at the possibility of coming back to England,” said the Croatian’s advisor Chris Nathaniel.
West Ham will be monitoring the situation as they wait for a decision from New Zealand defender Winston Reid about his future.
Reid will be out of contract next June and is yet to accept a new four-year deal that is on offer.
Hull manager Steve Bruce will also be interested as he attempts to climb away from the relegation zone after an alarming dip in form.
And Saints boss Ronald Koeman – with Champions League ambitions like West Ham – is keen to reinforce his squad.

Re: Zarate to QPR
It seems clear that he isn't part of Sam's plans, but with Sakho off to ACON, I can't help but think we would then limit our striking options.

Re: Zarate to QPR
We should've tried to tap up Charlie Austin and get him in exchange. Give :arry: a taste of his own medicine!
Re: Zarate to QPR
I'm a bit gutted about this - with the ACON I thought we were really going to see the best of him and he would end up being a very useful player for us this season.

Re: January 2015 Transfer Window - News & Rumours
Always thought that Corluka looked a bit like Tottenham's weak link to me , or it could have been when they were playing us .
Didn't he play at right back for them sometimes ?
