Not much choice there..Yobo and Matteo Ferrari seem to be the only ones worth investigating.
Shows how much we messed up on deadline day to secure a decent central defender.

Lassana Diarra update: he is still training with the club and looking to earn himself a contract! #COYI父

Even by our standards for bad publicity, this could end up being a step too far
Lassana Diarra has had a strange career , strange in that he did look the real deal at one point , but he's never seemed to stay long at any of the clubs he's played for , which leads me to the question - ' Why ? ' .
Is he a disruptive influence ?
The Diarra of 2007 / 2008 was brilliant and I couldn't believe that Chelsea then Arsenal got rid of him so quickly , then he went to Portsmouth where he was very good as well.....after spells at Real Madrid , Anzhi and then Lokomotiv he is now a free agent having been sacked by Moscow after falling out with their Head Coach .
He was training with us and then a move to Inter Milan seemed on the cards , now he's reportedly training with us again .
If Sam thinks he's good enough then give him a three month contract , see how he fits in / gets on then extend it if he proves himself .
Not sure if this is the right place to put or is even correct but i believe these players contracts are all up at the end of the season, some may have already agreed pre-contracts, but there seems to be a few decent players worth approaching??
