My son swears he is the nuts on FIFA! :D
Lavezzi could easily walk into any side in the Premier League. If we pull it of, that'll be brilliant.

I wanted to write Bojan too, has looked fantastic for them this season imo. But his injury is a frightening one and I would certainly think twice putting money on the table, considering we need players who can hit top form relatively quickly. You never know how these things effects a player.

Oh and Sam doesn't seem crazy about a classic number 10 so I'd save the juice if I were Sullivan...

...and no, i'm not

If Song and Jenkinson aren't possible then Nzonzi and Trippier as replacements for me.

He's an interesting example of a player who hasn't seemed to have got any better over the years (still not bad of course).

strikers playing midfield.
midfield playing centre back.
too many square pegs.
should have taken a chance on one of the young centre backs and bolster midfield with Kouyate, dropping one of the strikers to the bench.
Would have been able to keep the diamond.
Worried we are going to lose the game in midfield.

sorry wrong thread.

The only centreback other than Tomkins we have is Oxford he is 16. Burke and Henry are both out.

Jovetic

More of a question as I don't know much about him besides the few matches I have seen. But he seems on his way out of Man City. Price may be too high.
A fine example of another good player wasting a couple of years of his career at the Etihad.

Kieron Trippier of Burnley would be a top signing for us, and one that I bet Allardyce will be looking at. His delivery is absolutely top drawer. If we lose Jenkinson, then he would be the best replacement by far. He is as good if not better than Aaron Cresswell in my opinion.

You'll see I'm right in the summer when we sign him

I love how we're currently crippled with injuries at the moment yet we have an OUT list of like 11 players

We need a young, creative attacking midfielder. Downing is aging and an improvement in that area would be massive for us.

****ing hell. Downing has just moved into that role, is only 30, and generally excelled. Yup, that's exactly what we need.

So when Downing's injured or off form you're happy with having to abandon or strongest formation or fielding Nolan there thus changing the tactics?

No, of course not.

However, cover for his position isn't a priority, and we're not exactly the richest club in the country.

Right-back, Centre-Half, Central midfielder, and arguably a direct winger would be ahead of a creative player sitting behind a front two (if and when we play this formation).

Lassana Diarra on a free will be a great signing and I think it will happen as the continued deadlock can't continue with the Russians.

N'Zonzi as someone recently mentioned, would command £15m.

Very good player, but we'd get Song for much less than that.
