Manager 15: The Poll

Re: Manager 15: The Poll
Spent longer considering this than I care to admit...
I did factor in an element of realism, otherwise someone of Ancelotti's calibre walks it, he would be incredible. But I also think if the impossible were to happen he would be here a very short time and we possibly want someone to stay a bit longer term. So considering that I went with Emery.
There's plenty there I would be happy with and its an incredible list of possibles for us really. But Emery for me is the one that could be here for 4-5 years and really start to build something. His reputation is on the rise and were all hoping so is our club. So why not grow together. As many have said on these forums lately he could well be one in a few years time that is one of the hottest properties in management, and we sit their thinking what if.

Re: Manager 15: The Poll
Isn't the clock ticking rather fast on that one? And he's not getting a great deal of international experience in the meantime (unless he's caretaking against Gibraltar Lincoln Red Imps or whoever).ajhammer wrote:Would love Carr one day

De Boer for me. Coming from Ajax who have a fantastic youth set up would stimulate the Academy. Not to shabby a manager either.

Re: Manager 15: The Poll
Out of the realistic choices available it has to be Bielsa. Would be an amazing ride.
Re: Manager 15: The Poll
Just seen David Moyes walking down Old Bond Street, London.....coincidence?
Re: Manager 15: The Poll
tbh i voted for realistic option (Bielsa) as opposed to dream scenario (Klopp), I think there are 2 completely different polls getting muddled together in this.

You've got more chance of getting Shankly.Ding wrote:Bielsa.
Time to get real, our season starts in 5 weeks. Look at realistic targets, Rowett, Powell, Dyche. Otherwise its going to be Uncle Avram all over again.

My sister saw him once around Bond Street and gave him a wave as she thought he looked familiar and was "one of my Dad's mates" :lol:1RGJ wrote:Just seen David Moyes walking down Old Bond Street, London.....coincidence?

Bielsa all the way.
Love watching his teams and I like the cut of his jib. Promotes young players early, not conventional at all tactically, and is a little bit bonkers (but not fascist bonkers).

Who voted Redknapp? I'm not usually in favour of lynch mobs but willing to make an exception here.

Voted for Moyes, but think we'll get Bilic, and believe that Bielsa would be too intense for our existing squad, leading to a meltdown and the sack before Xmas.
