Re: Manager 15: The Poll
Biesla for me
I think it will be exciting to have an experienced foreign coach to add new philosophies, training methods and possibly very good signings to the club. Its a path we have not taken as a club and he likes a good pressing, attacking, style. I think he could go down very well here.
But if he becomes available I can see better teams coming in for him.

But I'd like a manager who can grow and build with us over the coming years, rather than be gone in one or two. Unlikely I know, but I'd still like to try.
So in my eyes I'd rather go with someone younger and on the up, like De Boer/Bielsa/Emery or most likely I guess, Bilic.

Frank De Boer for me.
Ancelotti a very close second mainly due to I can't see it happening in a million years. Biesla not far behind.
:arry: at the bottom.

Re: Manager 15: The Poll
toss up between bilic and bielsa for me, went with bilic as i can see him having all the tools to deal with the ownership and is smart enough to have them wrapped around his finger without them even knowing it, whereas bielsa could end up in a literal fist fight with any of them.
would be made up with either of them though.

Re: Manager 15: The Poll
Ancelotti the obvious (but unrealistic) frontrunner for me. Bielsa my preferred option from the more likely candidates.
Re: Manager 15: The Poll
got a funny feeling we'll end up with Klopp.
I know he said he wants to have a 6 month break, but I feel this is just a bargaining tool for more money.
Klopp has one more game with Dortmund and that's the cup final.
I'm staying hopeful.

Re: Manager 15: The Poll
Ancelotti won't manage any team outside of the Champions League qualifiers. Even silly money wages won't attract him.
I was going to vote for Rodgers for a laugh but went for Bielsa.

Who I want is Bielsa, so I voted for him.
Who we will get is a different matter.

Re: Manager 15: The Poll
I honestly haven't a clue on this one having not seen games involving teams managed by many on this list.
Re: Manager 15: The Poll
Would love Carr one day perfect fit and would blend the youth in but we really are in such an important phase of transition currently and with Europa qualifiers on the cards we really know someone who knows what they're doing. Voted for Benetiz good knowledge of the premier league and Europe and a big name to attract players.

find it quite interesting that Bilic has been linked with our club since Zola left and always been within the vote.
I voted Bilic... but Klopp would of been my choice.

Re: Manager 15: The Poll
the question is who would you like to see manage West Ham next... so Ancellotti could win... even though as you say is highly unlikelyFionn wrote:Not a realistic option but can't see how Ancellotti doesn't win this poll.
