6 Million,my arse,... 6 million and Robbie Keane maybe....
How can I put this so even a half breed nonce like Pleat can understand? How about this: go f**k yourself, arsewipe.
Yep, that tw*t Pleat is so used to closing deals with cheap whores down at Kings Cross that he thinks he can do the same with us. Well, you pervy kerb crawling f**ker you can put your BMW into third gear and f**k right off back to where you came from.

Yeah, yeah. They've just shelled out £20 million for the geezer from Spain and now they've got more for Defoe. Seems a tad unlikely to me....
from what i've heard this spanish kids, not an out and out striker, plays out on the right if anything, and with bergkamp, wiltord kanu all leaving in the summer, they need cover, and defoe to arsenal would seem the only option left in this window for a sale if its going to happen, am i right in thinking ray parlour can do a job in right midfield, big wages but give us eight and and half million and parelour and we may just be able to come to an arrangement, as for defoes replacement, thats being dealt with, i can say no more oin that

already have sir
think the last few games have convinced our alan that the need for defoe isn't as vital as it looked before christmas, and the cash can work a treet, as the optomism gained ands momentum of the club from these purchases have given everyone a lift, theres even rumours abound that pardew may be able to get defoe signed up, i doubt that will ever happen if it did then my vieews on the player would change, however i think its tada to the old and uninterested in the cause and in with the new and excited by the prospects that could lay ahead

.
a beam of light has just shone on me
Hmmm...the last few games eh. Do you mean the ones where we lost to Preston, f**ked up at Sheffield and had lady luck on our side at Molineux? Keep the talent that can ADD to the yet untested new purchases. Let's give ourselves the most options and class to storm up the league. The signs may be there, but there is a long way to go yet and I'd rather have Defoe than not

I think the point may be that the bad results were not because of a lack of goals as such. Seven in three ain't bad. Up until a few hours ago I was firmly in the "he will be staying till the summer" camp, but I'm starting to get just a tad uneasy about these rumours tonight

A/h,
We'll soon see and then one way or the other the two sides to this debate will have their theories tested over time.
One thing that does lead me to believe that he might go is that the new signings have been brought in first to offset the impact of a sale. One thing that I will say to you is that if you or anybody else is expecting anything other than the money generated for Defoe being pocketed by the club under these circumstances, then I think that you are being unrealistic. The spending money was actually generated by the sale of DJ and Pearcey, what will come for Defoe will be salted away as an insurance policy against failure to get promoted.
Well, well - now look what Mr Pardew is saying on the official *****:
We want to remember him celebrating goals and celebrating goals alone - as well as, hopefully, promotion.
"We are two days away from the fact that he will be with us and I can't wait for that day to arrive.
"I have said all along that I want to adhere him to the club and we are doing as much as we can.
"A special talent like his doesn't come along that often, even to a great club like West Ham - we have to do everything we can to keep him, and that is what we are trying to do."
OK, I'm not going to beat around the bush on this: IT'S MUSIC TO MY FU*King EARS.
Alan, my friend, I like the cut of your jib. Where could we be if we could just get rid of that wastrel Chairman of ours? The revolution has unfinished business.
As mentioned on the JD thread; one of our spies has spoken to The Petulant One who apparently is well up the the BRADFORD game looking towards promotion... That'll be the Bradford game that is after the closing of the transfer window which is - my how time flies- midnight tomorrow, folks
