Summer Transfer Window 2017

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
Football 365 in France have reported that the deal for Fegs is done with personal terms agreed as well as his signing on fee etc.....
The only remaining thing to do is for the clubs to agree a fee...
Rumours from foxesofliecester still suggesting we might be going for Slimani.... after they secure Ineacho but interesting enough they also say they have made approach for Siggurdson and hoping to better the terms made from Everton

This was exactly the point that Ashton was making the other day.Hammer in Hornchurch wrote:If the Hernandez deal comes off (and to an extent the Hart deal) I think it shows the club has ambition potentially to get to the so called 'next level'
Not saying we are anywhere near the Man City scenario, certainly not financial wise, but when they first came into money and bought there first marquee signing in Robinho, top players then took note of the ambition of the club and then followed one by one. Maybe these signings would change the perception of our club to players and show we really do want to push be a club on the 'next level'
Maybe just my wishful thinking !

Also, I am not 100% sure Zabaleta will be earmarked for right back. I can see him becoming a solid DM or right side of a back 3

I'd often see Noel when I lived in Primrose Hill. I never bothered him. I always feel that well known people just want to be left alone.
I would've thought he was getting a bit old for the marching powder now

Yep, why is why a loan for him wouldn't make a lot of sense to Arsenal.bubbles1966 wrote:Wilshere only has one year left on his contract, doesn't he?

Well I chose Obiang over Kouyate as he is better at tackling and passing in my opinion.Puff Daddy wrote:

The season before last when we nearly made he champions league it was in large those three that shared central midfield duties and we did well... main difference was we had a stronger defence and better attack than we did last year which meant less pressure on the whole team.
Many games last season if we had decent attacking players we could have been a couple up before the opposition got near.
Given the potential spend getting the other positions right this summer I don't think we will also sell Kouyate and fund a big money move for a dedicated DM.
I think that move comes next summer as the main position to fill
Just my opinion of course

Just went over to the Stoke board. They seem jolly peed off that Arnie is leaving.

I agree I think Zabaleta could be great as a deep midfielder for us, but wouldn´t that mean us going back to needing another solid right back if we play with four at the back? Or do we put our faith in Byrum stepping up and taking his game up a level this season?

Shame, you could probably get a job at the Daily Mail if you did. They seem to write a lot of it.Up the Junction wrote:I may have a ***** later but I probably won't write 400 words about it.

I hope we address it this window. but I fear your could be right. It would be good and a refreshing change next summer when we are not chasing a striker

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
I still feel we will make a late bid for Batshuayi. Once chelsea sign those strikers we might be able to nip in and nab him.
