Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
I doubt lanzini is going anywhere. if we bring in carvalho we have a very good team and squad. one striker short maybe and a younger CB.
however best team we will have had for many years.
carvalho this week and wilshire on loan are the most likely.
we are obviously hoping that carroll and sakho between them will cover some games this season - risky

Yup my tea leaves are telling me the same thing so that's two reliable sources for it now what with the HP sorted just waiting for the OK to be confirmed I reckon..Nick Sneddon wrote:bad news guys, bloke in the pub yesterday told me that Lanzini is definitely leaving - and his boss is a Liverpool fan so he should know. i asked him how he knew and he said he read it somewhere a few weeks ago. gutted

Isn't Wilshere in the last year of his contract, might make a loan less likely ?hammerman11 wrote:I doubt lanzini is going anywhere. if we bring in carvalho we have a very good team and squad. one striker short maybe and a younger CB.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
No disrespect to Lanzini who is a fabulous player with a big future, but if Liverpool get £100 m for coutinho surely they won't appease the Liverpool fans with a signing like Lanzini. I'm hoping they might have to sign a more established name from the top end of world football. Champs league pedigree kind of thing.

And if you do it again, it will be the last time. This thread is difficult enough to moderate without people trying to be clever.Nick Sneddon wrote:you got me, buddy

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
ok point taken - it was just a take on some of the posts I've seen on here. I have seen absolutely nothing to suggest he may be unhappy or wants to leave, and yet some seem to be pretty adamant he's going because a player in another team which we shouldn't care about is prolly go to Barca. its bizarrebristolhammerfc wrote:And if you do it again, it will be the last time. Bristol. I think Nicks post was amusing and made a point. Amazed people actually thought he was serious but there you go.

On the evidence of yesterday, I'd say he would walk into their team!

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
I wouldn't be greatly surprised to see Origi linked to us if they sell Coutinho and go and buy two or three new players, especially a striker.
