'Many players' is a bit of a stretch.
Sure any rightback or striker they have probably would, I'd snap off Stoke's hand for a sniff of a fit Jack Butland.
But to say there's a lot of players is an overstatement
That. Is probably it. Pulis and Hughes most likely identify the players they want and tell their respective chairmen to go out and get them. No saturated bids for a dozen different players in the hope they might just land one of them
West Brom finished 20 points behind us last season and only brought in Chadli, Nyom, Livermore and a few loans since then but sit clear in 8th, only Nyom might get a game for us.

I'd take Chadli, Livermore would get in the squad probably
Puff - Sullivan's lad posted on twitter that we lost out on Arnautovic as he had decided to go to Spain instead... which was a suprise when he rocked up at Stoke a day or two later.
We can assume that was down to either promises of first team football or higher wages, maybe both?
Rondon could have been signed but that summer they were stupidly cock sure that either Valencia would come good or Sakho would build on his (with hindsight) flash in the pan first season.
They will not spend money on second choice strikers because as we are constantly reminded by the board, we have an England centre forward who was once a record signing and is on high wages. Until he is sold or we buy someone better to either gee him up or put his nose out of joint (up to him really how he takes it) we will always have this problem.
If Valencia looks twice the player when he comes back, then that throws even more doubt on our coaching setup. How many players that have signed during bilics reign have actually improved? I honestly think that a lot more in terms of performance could be gotten out of our existing players. At the moment, I'm convinved that even a player like lacazette would turn into a 7 goals a season flop once he pulled on a west ham shirt.
would take rondon straightaway. fit, runs and scores which is more than most of our strikers can do.
hopefully the board have learnt from the last summer transfer window. rather than get in 10 players I would like just 3/4 quality signings.
RB,CAM, CF x 2

We're paying the price for being so unbalanced, a lesson we never learn.
No point comparing squads with West Brom etc as you will find yourself thinking why we aren't above them. We have lots of better players than them.....but have played for large chunks of the season without a right back or a striker. Two key positions you cannot just ignore.
I would of thought we were veryappealing. next door to westfield, london airport and being London based for the brand.
The owners will sell up but 650m for the team and no ground is not a good business proposition at the moment.
The ground needs to be bought which will ultimately happen as we appear to be trying to make it seem very expensive to the govt.
Can see Red Bull coming back in if/when the decision is made to buy the bowl
