Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
Thanks Jinxed. Even if they all don't land it's obvious you're not just making it up! Appreciate the info.
Anyone else concerned though that we might only sign one forward? Does this mean Martinez might get a chance?

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
I just posted this information on a couple of West Ham Face Book groups (stating that it came from a reliable source from the kumb.com forum) and straight away I got the "I´m not getting excited until they´re announced" comment, with a hint of as if I´m bothering them by passing on the information.
Again thanks for sharing Jinxed, I´m not sure I´d be able to put up with it in the long run.

I'm sure I read the other day that wilshere is confident of being fit for the start of the season?
He obviously comes with risk but could be a fantastic player for us

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
I'd be more than happy with Hernandez as the only striker signing and giving Martinez a crack.
Second striker money could be used on a midfield enforcer instead, imo.

We're waiting for the Hernandez deal to be done so we can announce them together...Bury Me @ The Boleyn wrote:Why are we waiting so long to announce Hart?
But then that one is on hold so we can announce them with Arnautovic.
That one is also on hold so we can do a quadruple announcement with Gray...
Which is on hold until we can agree the terms with Wilshere and announce a record breaking 5 signings.
The Wilshere deal will break down then all the others will have got fed up by then and gone elsewhere

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
jinxed gives out useful info regarding our club. This I am grateful for and he is fairly consistent and reliable. what others feel I dont care and I dont prescribe to all the doom and gloom.
we appear to be doing good steady business. improving the first 11 rather than bulking up the squad.
hopefully snodgrass and randolph will be next to leave and we should get 10m+ for them
Keep up the good work jinxed, appreciated and ignore the idiots !

The most West Ham of all possible outcomes.Hayden wrote: We're waiting for the Hernandez deal to be done so we can announce them together...

Chambers for 20 million...blimey, he's collected a few big fee's already.
Thanks Jinxed... let's hope they all come off. Still a good few weeks to bed them into the squad too if they come in this week.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
If the Hernandez deal comes off (and to an extent the Hart deal) I think it shows the club has ambition potentially to get to the so called 'next level'
Not saying we are anywhere near the Man City scenario, certainly not financial wise, but when they first came into money and bought there first marquee signing in Robinho, top players then took note of the ambition of the club and then followed one by one. Maybe these signings would change the perception of our club to players and show we really do want to push be a club on the 'next level'
Maybe just my wishful thinking !

Jinxed,
Any idea if Hernandez would have a similar buyout clause with us?

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
-------------------- Hart ---------------
Zabaleta -- Reid -- Ogbonna -- Cresswell
-----------Noble -- -- Obiang -------
---------------- Lanzini -----------------
Antonio ---------------------- Arnautovic
--------------- Hernandez --------------
That's a strong XI, 4 first team upgrades
Bench is more tricky...
I'd prefer to see Feghouli & Snodgrass replaced for one better winger
Would consider using Burke from the bench and selling Fonte
If we can't or don't want to sell Carroll then could see Ayew leaving for a new pacey striker (like Gray) to have a more balance squad
Adrian, Burke, Masuaku, Kouyate, New Winger, Carroll, Gray?
Byram, Rice, Collins, Cullen, Fernandes, Fletcher & Martinez waiting to come in...
Sell Fonte, Feghouli, Snodgrass & Ayew depending on the other striker situation
