for all theyre criticism on here, dailly and repka do, and repka usually gives his shirt away, rather they all ****ed off and ignored us and put more effort in out on the pitch myself

I know it is difficult to sing when they are awful but a barrier seems to exist between the two in any event.
I feel if we got behind the team more rather than constantly having a go then there would be no barrier between the fans and players. Recent events with the booing of Christian Dailly and general apathy surrounding every home performance doesn't exactly create an atmosphere that is condusive to winning.

There is little affinity nowadays.
This was one thing that set us apart from other clubs and one reason I love WHU.
All seater stadia don't help and stewarding etc, you cannot get as close as you used to.

I think we're all suffering a Premiership hangover and expect the team to clobber everyone. When they don't lots of people show their frustration. (Wrongly, in my opinion)
That must affect the players and create a gulf between us and them. Lots of effort from all concerned is needed.
Bywater gave us all plenty applause on Sat. Excessive really as we didn't do a lot.
On the subject of getting the crowd going. What we need is plenty people, call them mascots, warm up men, whatever, in the stands, walking around behavin stupidly, singing and generaly trying to whip the crowd up. People seem to lose their inhibitions when they see someone else making a fool of themselves. Unless it's our players, of course

What is it with you and the dressing up? Whenever an idea is getting off the ground, it's "I know let's dress up as..."
