Like i've already said in another post if this is true then maybe Eidur and his camp has waited til we are assured of Premiership status being dealing with us would go together with the story surfacing again the weekend after SU case was denied.

If he became available it might be something we just can't turn down.

He is class. It would be a major coup to sign him.

this was rumoured on here a while ago; EG was interested but not too enthusiastic IIRC, but as was said, things have changed here. Tevez is as good as gone and the spectre of relegation has dissapeared, plus Barca have told him he's not really in their plans..

WE are one of his best options to do well in the Prem as the big boys are not interested anymore.

Hopefully not in the same way as we couldn't turn down the Argies...

Gudjohnsen would certainly up the quality in our team. However, without Bellamy we would not be that quick up front.

Does anyone know whether Ephraim or Hines have enough about them to come through next season, or would Curbs look for another quick forward.

I definitely want to see Eidur sign on at West Ham, a hugely talented player who has done the business in England before, a proven star. This would be a signing that would really improve the mood of those who will be gutted to Carlitos in a United shirt, as Bellamy comes with some doubt around him. If Eggert does have any influence in the Icelandic strikers camp, then get using it now please sir. :D

WIkipedia isnt to be trusted at all.

I could go and edit Ronaldinho's wiki to say he is signing tomorrow for £58m but it wouldnt be reliable.

I would imagine Newcastle have some other concerns at the moment, leaving us free to nip in there and grab Eidur.

I'd be well happy if Eider signed for us. Give him the number 10 shirt and have him holding the shirt ****ed by Eggy and Curbs for all the Chelsea fans to see

class player, always wanted to sign him when he left bolton!
he tore us apart once for chelski playing in midfield!

just watched the video posted on this thread, f*** me ive always thought he was class but that makes you see what quick feet he has, and great vision!

would certainly soften the blow of losing tevez more than anyone else we have a chance of getting

For the record i'd be very happy if this is true. Gudjohnsen is class.

Keep us updated Journo if you see any quotes or more reports.
At that present time both situations were totally different.

1. Tevez was rumoured to be staying here.

2. Gudjohnsen was still in line for decent playing time at Barca.
