Although this thread won't be complete without the addition of the usual requests for Ralph Milne or Alex Bunbury........
Whoops, I just did them!

Re: good old days..
I was born in 81,so unfortunately wasn't around during any of the OP's photo's. However, two of my most memorable moments supporting West Ham were both the Semi Finals at Villa Park. This being one of them......
Both of them games made you realise why you support West Ham and always will, and then make your children and their children support them after yourself.Sadly,I doubt i'll ever experience days out like that again supporting West Ham. Considering that photo was only 3 seasons ago, should I stay optimistic about supporting this club? Or should I take up a decent job offer in New York and watch our games on a stream not worrying about not being able to attend games anymore? As family orientated as I am....i'm probably gonna take up the job offer even though it will mean being away from my parents/sister/nephews and other relatives etc. That said, two seasons ago i'd have probably turned the job offer down due to supporting West Ham alone. I've had this conversation with lots of West Ham fans (all around 25 to 50 in age) recently and it seems the majority don't feel the same about attending games anymore. Right now,the only factor that will keep me in the UK is my family.West Ham have no relevance whatsoever on my decision anymore.
We could get bought by a billionaire, move into a new 60,000 all seater stadium and make lots of 8 figure sum signings...... but regardless of what happens,i'm sure all of us will be looking back and speaking of previous years as the 'good old days'

Re: good old days..
CH - thanks for the Bonzo pic - when was that taken . . . 67 -68? Any idea? I'm sure most people here forget he started out at Charlton - erased from our collective memory!
And thanks for the programme cover from Easter Monday 1977 - remember that screaming GP volley from the edge of the box that won us the game? We had a great run in thru March and April that year, didn't we?
Great memories, I love taking a walk down memory lane with me rose colured specs on

I am law (Sorry don't know how to do that quote thingy!)
I saw Frankie Van der Else make his debut vs Brighton ( we lost!) as a sub, and straight away i thought he was the dog's danglies, but Pop Robson had left by then. Had to feel sorry for Pop Robson, i think he left before we the FA cup in 75 and 80
Don't remember any other Belgians through playing for us though..
