This afternoon, I received a sad phone call from Lynn, daughter of a regular poster on here, ray4whu, to say he very sadly passed away from cancer last week.

I got to know Ray through kumb.com just over a year ago and exchanged phone numbers. He was so passionate about West Ham United and had a very large collection of Hammers programmes and helped me out when I was looking for a couple of programmes. He would not accept any payment, not even for postage. It was an absolute pleasure to have known Ray for the brief period that I did.

This site will be a sadder place for his sad passing.

Ray Bryer, rest in peace mate. True Hammer.
