Well what must that say about your lot then that at our abject worst, we still managed to score 2 goals against you and if we hadn't had a retard at left back gifting you 2 goals, we would have won ?

Zola's comment just makes me sick

"It was disappointing, because I didn't think we deserved to lose. Fulham played at a normal level, rather than better than West Ham."

O, really?!
even if they were just normal as he stated, Fulham played many of their substitutes when that was our first team line-up, which looked toally clueless, not only this game, but most of the games this season.

I can't wait for the season to end

Da Costa said that, not Zola

What Zola said was what he says after almost every away game. "It was a strange game. I wasn't expecting anything like that". Confidence filling - he never expects anything seemingly.

How many changes did Fulham make from Thursday night's Semi-Final winning team.

I make it 7 changes ? and they still strolled it.

Sullivan might try another complaint

One quick thing Do they not have ball boys at Fulham everytime the ball went over the touchline our keeper had to go and get it

Got back very late last night. Went on quite a pub crawl.
IMHO that performance was inept. We lacked flair and creativity. Nobody seemed to know what they were supposed to be doing.
The defending was p1ss poor and Spector was shocking.
IIRC Fulham had 3 chances and scored from all 3.
If we play like that next week we will get thumped.

LM - I think you'll find they scored 2 from their 3 chances as their second was heading for the corner flag before it hit Cole on the elbow. The other chance hit the bar. HtH

HAving watched the full game on chances we should have breezed it and aside from the own goal and Spector's usual gift we should have won the game. Not sure the team should be called inept, as we have few players that can be labled 'creative' available to us, and those that offer that, Stansilas is always piss poor and shoudl eb on loan sonewhere, and Diamante who has already been told he can leave. Diamante actually tried a few things when he came on and I still think he could offer something if played in a free role rather than out wide.

The shoreline 3-2 is like polishing a turd. It hides the fact that we have become a very poor footballing side. There is little to no imagination in our play and no intelligence in what we do. Punt the ball long to Cole every single time seems to honestly be the way we play which people can forgive if it’s winning football but for the vast majority of the season it has not been.

Playing Spector at left back for match after match where unfortunately he is making bight mistakes is a shame for Spector but its costing us vital goals and a change had to be made a long while ago to rest him and let him get his confidence back. This is just another example where team selection this season has been baffling. I honestly cannot wait for the season to be over ASAP and we will have to see who our new manager brings to WHUFC in terms of personal.
