Eagles is their danger man. I was really hoping we would go for him after Burnley went down last year, not quite sure why nobody else has.

I´d rest most of the starting XI, depending on injuries:

Green
Faubert-Da Costa- Reid- Bridge
Sears- ---Noble------Spector---LBM
--------------Hines------Piq

Give Hitz the last 30, and maybe give Dyer a few mins if he´s back from whatever injury he has. Play Obinna for Hines if he´s fit

That'll be Cole who scored again yesterday for his 8th of the season ? Cole who is 2 goals behind £25m Bent for the season ? That Cole ?

And apparently Obinna is out again for about another 2 or 3 weeks...

......................Green..............
Jac.....Reid...Da costa...Bridge
O'Neill....Spec..Noble....Barrera
................Ba.......Hines.............

Bring Hitz on after 60 mins

If Barrera's nuts ain't up to it then O'Neill

Obina to be used as impact sub if needed

Win this and we're in last 8. Happy days

They did, he turned down Rangers and Everton were sniffing after him as well.

I don't think we should be playing either Bridge or Jac - these two are essential to the back four that is already decimated, and to risk losing them for the sake of a cup match given our current situation league wise would be madness. Spence or Faubert at RB and Brown at LB.

I can't wait to see the crowd of this one. If it is above 20,000 I will be astonished.

Monday night, on tv and the Burnley fans have to travel half of the country to just get here.

They'll probably mistakenly add in the ST waiting list - so hold tight for an OS busting 42000 this Monday.

I remember when a last 16 FA cup match under the lights would mean a packed house and an amazing atmosphere.

When you know Kovac will be running the midfield - it is a cue to stay away.

Burnley appear to be in form and will give us a good game as they play the kind of passing football that will open up our defence.
One good thing is that they are back in the promotion race so with a bit of luck, if we get ahead they will lose interest.
If...

I agree that we should be careful with this match. Not put out a reserve team, but keep a couple of players back, and, as you say Jacobsen and Bridge are important - not least because they are the only FB specialists we have. Good game for Spence and Brown, well yes, why not.

Let's not forget that McCarthy and Ilunga are eligible for this game :?
