Do we know what shops are planned for Stratford . I must admit i have *NEVER* been to Stratford , maybe i should just pop down there just to see what the place is like?

Considering that Stratford will quite literally be the centre of the whole world's attention for a few weeks next year, I would say the place was rather less than impressive! There's a lot of turd polishing going on there at the moment, and we all know that you just can't do that.

Taking my kids to see "Glee" at the O2 in June and booked in at the Holiday Inn Express @ Stratford , the Tripadvisor reports are "mixed" to say the least but I contacted them about parking and they came back and said its £20 a night!!!! The room is only £60 and I only pay £26 in central London! I think they are on Olympic prices already and I suppose they are all looking for the money now in E20.

It's a huge building stir at the moment, but basically if you have heard of a store they will be in Stratford - it is the largest urban shopping centre in Europe.
