Very difficult to speculate on this match, at this point in time.

By this time next week, any combination of Cole, Piquionne, Parker, Green or Barrera could be off. In fact, it is plausable that all could be sold.

If the squad remains the same come next Sunday Morning, my preferred lineup would be

----------------------------Green------------------------

O'Brien------Tomkins---------Reid------------Illunga

Barrera-------Noble-----Parker-----Nolan-------Taylor

-------------------Cole-------------------------------------------

Boffin,Samuel,Collison,Boa Morte,Piquionne.

Yes folks, in 8 days time we get to whip cardiff. No doubt the team are on a high and deservedly so. Now i challenge any team in the chump to show me a better midfield than ours at the moment. I don't think it will really matter too much if we don't get another striker of note in because with the supply that our boys up the front will get it will be like shooting fish in a barrel. If we loose Parker and or Cole, then things will change. If we added collison on for Parker today then i guess the result would have been about the same.
Also, if you look at the list of back up players to our defence then i am not too worried about the team until the Jan window. At this p[oint if we are still lacking in any vital position i am sure that the porn dwarfs will have learned their lesson from last season and make the right decisions if they have to.

It's getting late here in Oz and i am well pleased with the season to date. The only down side i can see to the recent events is the longgggggggg list of Bolton players gracing the hallowed turf, i guess that it a change from the african wonderkids and tot(scum)ham flopskis on loan from recent times.
This season is surely well worth a laugh on early morning bourbon tastings in fron of the PC :crest:

Kenny Miller or Earnshaw to score the first goal inside 15 minutes. Nailed on with this overconfidence.

I live in Cardiff and go and watch them quite a lot, and obviously have a soft spot for them.

So my friends cannot understand that I want us to absolutely batter them next Sunday! They just don't get it.

Save for our defence, who's strength is of dubious strength, our midfield, on paper, cannot be matched by any other team.

i don't think we'll batter them, but a nice, confidence boosting 2-0 with an added extra time goal to make it 3, will set the seal on it

The bit of the team that doesn't specialise in scoring goals or stopping them is the bit we are best at?

Agreed.

I don't think we'll lose but wouldn't be surprised to see us draw. Narrow win by one goal maybe.

Last year we were blinding in the friendlies. 85/6 we were crap in them.

I reckon we will win this one 2-0. I don't think it will be a walk in the park though, it never is for us!
I would expect a line up something like this.

-----------------------Green--------------------------
O'Brian------Tomkins----Faye-------Ilunga

-------------Parker------------Noble------------
Sears------------------------------------Collison
-------------------Nolan------------------
--------------------------Cole-------------------

I don't think Parker will have been sold by next weekend.

Reid instead of injured Faye.

Barrera or Faubert on the wing instead of a striker.

Taylor is our new left winger so will be playing.

Other than that

If fit Collison should/will play I cannot understand how so many dont include him in their nailed on 11 , was there when he came on V Arse new years day (few years ago) he will be so influential this season.
