Get in. Not the most inspiring performance, but winning with such a depleted squad is fantastic.

Carlton Cole changed that game. Thought Faye and Diop were superb today. Baldock took his goal fantastically well too.

2nd half was cracking. Nolan hardly touched the ball - probably why we played a lot better

Just got to keep winning and hope Southampton eventually drop points. Shame we couldn't have beaten Bristol City, table would look decent right now.

I've just had a thought. We're two up in injury time and Green has had to make two world class saves

Have to say the passing for the 2nd goal was superb and well done Collison getting back to his old self. I was complaining about him earlier in the season but he is coming on well now and it seems he is knuckling down.

Well chuffed with 3 points and a clean sheet! Looked a different side at the beginning of the second half, thanks to Cole.

MOTM Faye and Green. They can share it. Fantastic performances.

Great display by Green, Faye and Tomkins. Nice cameo by Cole and great poaching by Baldock again. Nothing pretty about it but 2-0 will do. Piquionne yet again shows he can't even be arsed to run for 5 minutes. Rosenior took one look and saw who it was and just sped past him. All the lummox had to do was stand in front of him. Can't believe the subs Allardyce picked today. Surely should have been a young defender or midfielder on the bench instead of that plum? Lucky that Faye lasted the match. Noble played alright and Collison took his goal well. Where was Nolan? Anonymous second half and poor in the first.

Green man of the match for me, he kept it 0-0 just before half-time & then kept it 2-0 at the end. Loads of fingertip saves today.
