Over 450 season ticket holders and members sign up in a little over 48 hours since the launch of the whu's view campaign, all giving their backing for an independently audited consultation to be carried out by the club over the proposed move to Stratford.

Thank you for your support so far.

If you support the idea of a ballot, please sign and forward the link to http://www.whusvoice.com to as many fans as possible.

There have been nearly 500 sign up in a couple of days, the vast majority s/t holders or members. We have only really publicised this in West Ham forums and the like, yet there is obviously an appetite for such a poll.

Wait to North Bank Norman gets involved, then there will be trouble!

@whu647580 @paulturner67 There is a new bidding process taking place, we must await the outcome we will then consult the fans. DG

@Maybin6 @paulturner67 If we go and thats not certain the whole area would be redeveloped to everybody's advantage DG

Correct me if im wrong but is this GD saying that the fans will be consulted once the outcome of the bidding process has been completed?

That is exactly what he is saying. So we're bidding if we win then they'll ask the fans

So no consulation with the fans, unless it involves talking about hot dogs or shirts.

Do you agree with this or do you think that the fans should be consulted before the decision is made?

WHU'SVIEW? UPDATE

The Committee of WHU's View are pleased to announce that we have secured from Ms Karren Brady, in principle, an agreement to conduct a thorough poll of supporters with regards to bidding for the Tenancy of the Olympic Stadium. Ms Brady has also agreed to meet with our representatives early in the New Year and we currently await confirmation of the date and time.

Whilst we look forward optimistically to meeting with the Board and hope that discussions are both constructive and ongoing, the objective of WHU's View remains unchanged:- A written undertaking from the Board for an Independently Audited poll of Season Ticket holders and Academy members.

These agreements are a direct result of the campaigning and leafleting undertaken by WHU's View and the Committee would like to thank everyone who has signed up so far for their support. Please continue to join the campaign by registering at http://www.whusview.com. If you have any queries please contact us at campaign@whusview.com or find us on twitter @whusview and Facebook by searching WHU's View.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

WHU's View Committee.

Got an email today with an update on what's happening. If anyones intrested read on.

WHUs View? wish to update those who have registered. We have been contacted by Karren Brady confirming that the Club will hold a ballot of some sort if they decide to bid for the Olympic Stadium.

The Club are also to arrange a meeting with members of the committee to discuss issues such as who will be balloted, when and how. It is the committee’s position that all Season Ticket holders and Academy Members should be balloted before commitment with more than a simple yes/no poll.

We also think that a respected organisation such as the Electoral Reform Society should organise the ballot as they did when Everton and Chelsea recently consulted fans on moves. We hope to have a constructive debate with the Club in the near future and then intend to report back. We wish to seek views as to the questions that should be put to ensure any ballot will be as representative as possible.

Sufficient numbers have registered with WHUs View? to prompt the club to confirm a ballot will be held. We are now anxious to avoid delay and we will continue to press for this and to hold the Club to their promises. If felt necessary, an Open Meeting is being considered when supporters and officials will be invited to discuss what remains the most important decision our Club will ever take.

Thank you for your support. Please continue to encourage others to register their contact details as we are always looking to expand our campaign. Please get in touch if you have any ideas on what else we could do - all ideas are welcome.

WHUs View? Committee 11/1/2012

Press reports today suggest we have registered an interest along with 15 other interested parties .

Has Karren kept her promise ?

Or is the consultation going to be after whether or not we know if we've "won" . When it's too late .

The club have made contact again and a date for a meeting with representatives of WHU's View? should be arranged shortly.

WHUs's View? will be putting forward our single aim - that an independent ballot of season ticket holders & members is held before the club commits itself to any move to the Olympic Stadium.

WHU's View? remain neutral on whether we should move - our aim is that meaningful consultation with supporters is carried out and that supporters have an opportunity to vote on the proposed move.

I'm bumping this in the light of the comments from David Sullivan with his interview with Ian Dale .

If I have understood things correctly , Karren has promised WHU's view a ballot , and David Sullivan is there will not be a ballot .

Or have I misunderstand ?
