Usually agree but the mash mixed really well with sauce.. and did have some grilled veg attached too..

Don't know what you expected but in my opinion offal is awful, anyway, last night I had roast belly of pork with all the trimmings, so therefore tonight I had bubble and a selection of premium sausages, including pork and apple, lamb and mint, they were lovely. (Sorry Ryan I didn't mean to piss on your parade, but I just don't like any kind of offal, liver, kidneys hearts etc. all taste ***** to me).Smiley winkey thing.

No worries, I normally get them from the butchers where they do a proper job taking the **** out but got them from Tesco last night, will be giving them a swerve in future it put me off a bit.

Tonight something much much more nicer, egg and bacon with hash brown beans tomatoes.

So indeed, last night's streaky bacon, 2 egg, beans, hash browns went down a treat.

Evening meeting tonight, so defrosting chilli con carne in the fridge for when I am home at 20:30.

What did Dick Emery say to the plate of liver?

You are offal, but I like you.

Scrap that, didn't end up having that as my birds fat grandad is back from Turkey, so treated myself to fish and chips instead.

Burnt my tongue last night. Gutted. Is the worst thing ever has it ruins the next few days of taste buds.

Tonight, home made chicken curry, with onion, spinach, mushrooms, fresh corriander, garlic, tomatoes, fresh chillies and coconut milk. Serving with some mini naans!

Cooking virtually everything in the tegine we got for Christmas, or magic cooking pot as I now call it.

So tonight I’m giving it a real work out, slow cooked shin of beef. Potatoes, carrots and onions in the pot with it, bang on the lid, chuck in oven to slow roast for 3 hours at 170. I caramelise some onions as well, which I leave to go cold and crispy which I crumble over the top to serve to give it an authentic tegine feel.

The gravy this thing makes is gorgeous.
