Birmingham in the playoff?

Bad - they are our bogey team

Good - they have the shittest away following, so more tickets for us

Birmingham have confirmed they won't be taking anymore than 2000 regardless of the opposition for some reason.
Cardiff took 4000ish to Palace in the league cup semi I reckon they'd take similar to us an all, not that the Old Bill will allow it.

Wonder what the Priority Points minimum will be for the potential games?

By reference to figures posted over on the Away Support thread, Birmingham are likely to sell the most tickets for any semi-final away leg. The next, surprisingly is Boro.

Blackpool might sell more because of the context, but, without being critical of them, they're a fairly small support, really.

The one that slightly confuses me, in terms of league showings, is Cardiff. Are they 'bubbled' wherever they go?

I fully expect Cardiff in the semis.

£15 a ticket for the home leg for season ticket holders,£25 for everyone else.

Who is versatile or important enough to earn a place on the bench ?
All of this obviously depending on who we play in the first place.
Here is my take:

Green
Demel - Tomkins - Reid - Taylor
O'Neil - Noble - Nolan - Collison
Vaz Te - Cole

Subs: Faye, Diop, O'Brien, Maynard, Baldock

Leaving out the likes of Henderson, Collins, Potts, McCartney, Faubert, Lansbury, Morrison, Nouble, Montenegro, Hall, Carew, Piquionne

there is no way we can go into a game of that magnetude without a proper keeper on the bench

Apologies for any perceived negativity, but am assuming we don't go up automatically on Saturday & therefore trying to get some provisional travel arrangements in hand for 3rd May.

Am OK for Middboro, Blackpool & Brum, but would appreciate some first-hand advice re Cardiff.

The away game was one of the few I have missed this season -- took the Sky option to avoid the 'bubble'.

Presume train travel is a complete no-no, what with having to get from Cardiff Station to Services & then back to ground?
Was worried that if I drove, by the time I was allowed out of the Services it might be tricky to park ?

Was seriously thinking of taking the WH 'Community Care' Coach for the first time in many years.

Any thoughts ??

Was thinking about how the play-off structure is broadly unfair to the club finishing 3rd - and even 4th at a stretch. But the argument that it keeps the season running longer is a fair one as well.

So why don't they have the top two slots go up automatically, third goes straight to the play-off final, and 5th and 6th play a one-off knockout game for the right to play 4th over two legs for the other spot in the final?

That would seem to give everyone their just desserts for how they conducted their business over a 46 game season, while keeping interest alive and giving TV their play-off games. 3rd gets a reward for finishing best of the rest, 4th gets a slightly smaller reward by automatically being in the semis, and 5th and 6th would have to win 3 games just to get to the final, which would only be fair given they'd normally be 3 wins behind the 3rd and 4th placed teams. It SHOULD be difficult for the team coming 6th to go up to the PL.

When the play offs first started, it was only the 3rd,4th and 5th that qualified. The fourth place was taken by the team finishing 4th from bottom of the top tier. There was no Wembley final, just another 2 leg tie to decide who went/stayed up.

Brilliant. Absolutely Brilliant. I've never seen the highlights before, only the goals. The old man was there and said it was better than any game he ever went to, even better than the 66 World Cup final.

loved the"proper" slowed rendition of Bubbles at the end...with the correct words being sung.
