My old dear had breast cancer last year, it was proper ****, i wasnt very good about it all as i am really no good in those situations but when she needed me most i would like to think i really produced the goods, i went to live down there in Canterbury for a while and tried my best to help her and reading this story right hits home about it all.

Proper hope this kid does a Sears and scores on his debut or the like as i reckon he will get a massive reaction i am gagging for him to become a hero for us and hope he gets his chance this year as this could be the feel good story that really spurs the team on to something special.

Glad to her the boy is continuing to make good progress and go from strength to strength - there's still alot of hard work to be done no doubt.
Wishing him all the best.

Don't know what he's on Lee, but after the last two years I think he has every right to it. Good luck DT

Great to hear he's recovering from his illness..

Not sure why he'd deserve one of them, there are hundreds of thousands of Kids far less fortunate than him that don't recover from lots of stuff.

& not sure how he can even afford one of those however considering he's 18 and has never kicked a ball for the first team.. :?

How LOW can some people bring the debate & discussion! a Disgrace!

I feel for anyone especially young who suffers Cancer! and after fighting it they deserve something to cheer them up, it is must likely the Family who have bought the car and if Dylan was my son and I could afford it I would get him the car he wanted! Thought I read the other day that the club are taking Dylan on tour with them, good on you Dylan!

I know you're probably joking and that's your depraved sense of humour coming out  BUT as someone who has fought cancer for a long time, that one isn't funny mate

Ermmm , it was a joke. Typically RARS..

More a case of knowing the posters humour more than taking everything said too literally.

I'm sure we all wish Dylan well...

After 43218 posts you would think you could come away with something more sympathetic than that sentiment. :thdn:

RARS, I didn't know you were a professional fisherman! I think you're going to struggle to remove the hooks from a few people's mouths though
