Because Freedom of Speech is a myth. There is no such thing. The swear filter and banning of using certain derogatory terms on this site are proof of that.

So what happens to those ants removed from their colony? Do they
1) Die a lonely death as they depend on their own colony 2) Find a new colony and exist there 3) Live a normal lifespan alone
Call this a forum? What about my ants goddamit! I'm worried about the poor little chaps.

i'm no entomologist, but: it is hard for ants to get lost, although a trip to the dump might do the trick (how far is it?). different colonies are usually not friendly, so it is likely they'll become food if stumble on another colony. i think a solitary ant would not survive alone, as it heavily depends on the colony, just a guess tho.

My house got recently invaded by loads of ants. I bought a little dish thing which was full of ant food but laced with poison. After a couple of days of feasting on this the ants all but disappeared....I think because they take the poisoned food to the queen, and once she goes the colony dies.
So I'm guessing they won't last long away from their nest.
By the way, I felt very guilty committing this act of mass ant genocide, but they were becoming a bit annoying.

Everyone knows that the correct method is to pour a kettle full of boiling water over any ant infestation. Edit : This works better outside I admit.

Spent the last ten days downloading, removing programs, reinstalling, googling IT forums trying to find a way to get the audio back on my Youtube clips. Turns out all I had to do was slide the volume control back up, like fmgod suggested a week ago ...............

If you are a gay man and you get married or civil ceremony or whatever it is called, how do you decide what one of you has to change your name??? the more masculine/butch one keeps his name or do they just toss a coin?

No legal requirement to change one's name. Loads of straight couples don't - I've never really seen the point myself.

Why don't we use an electronic voting system in the UK rather than a paper system? Surely we would get results faster and would reduce the need for so many counters. Would probably also reduce manual error.

I've always ASSumed the former.. :shock
I was once drunk enough to ask a gay mate of mine that very question, he told me they played paper/rock/scissors. Without going into details he then told me that not all gay couples go in for anal, which I kind of assumed was part of the deal?

I took another load to the tip yesterday, and more ants made the trip. So this time they had friends waiting for them. It all worked out in the end.

I had that very same conversation once. Gay sexual relationships are far more complex that straight, it was quite the education.

My bummder mate said something similar, but only if you are really into the "hardcore gay scene", other than that, he reckons it's the same as straight relationships, where as, most men are barstewards and do not understand monogamy and fidelity.
