Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmI'll be tempted as its just down the road from me.
Be careful of those brave millwall chaps throwing bottles and fronting families with women & children to whoever goes.
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmExpensive compared to tonight's game at Rush Green!
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pm
Yes, I went to the last one, and saw those you mention emerge from their cave last time too.
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmWhy are we allowed to field twelve players for this game?

Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pm
Yeah they don't care just as long as they 'turn us over' funny all the times they've 'turned us over' the last few years were.. Dagenham vs Millwall - Apparently the ICF turned up and ran David Haye - again they turned over 4000 West Ham fans in their own ground and there were only 8 of them (including David Haye) West Ham vs Millwall - 10 minutes after kick off and everyone but 40 of them were inside the ground. I was late to this game myself and although I exaggerate on late but it doesn't matter to them they walked through our manor and took 'liberties' And they wonder why literally everyone thinks they're scum?
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmshould be a good turnout alot of west ham live in welling

Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmWellings ground is at the end of my road, I might set up a stall on my drive selling tea & cakes
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmBefore this game on Saturday you could sample the delights of "Blue Square Premier league team Dartford" ( At the expense of Welling in the play off final), just a few miles away on Tuesday night 7.45pm....
Better ground than Welling's dump also !!
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmanyone know what players will play? who didnt travel to germany?
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pm
Last time the only senior player who played was Jimmy Walker, the rest being development squad players at the time such as Hines and Reid from memory Here is a link to the thread on the Welling Forum at the time, seems they don't care too much for Millwall either! http://wellingunited.activeboard.com/t12901513/welling-v-west-ham/
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmI'm taking my Grandad to this game, he's been a fan for over 60 years. Last game was the playoff final so a real contrast. Hope we have a good turnout. COYI

A West Ham X1 will take on Jamie Day's Welling United on Saturday. Both teams will look to play attractive football. Adults £12 Concessions £7 KO 3pm Not much of a preview but there you go, hope Piq's looking forward to another run out.
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmian hendon said some players that went to germany will be coming back to play at welling united
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pmI can't believe this.... I was born and raised in the Blackfen/Welling area. Danson Park was my playground. The Crook Log was our local...
Wish I was there.....
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pm![]() Programme for tomorrow, courtesy of Paul White at Welling United FC. ![]() Looks like another solid Non League ground and as mentioned earlier in the thread they seem to hate Millwall so should be a good afternoon.
Re: welling united v west ham x11 sat 28th 3pm
"Solid" probably isnt the right word to use to describe their ground. It is a dump, it's falling to bits and is in disrepair. Just be careful where you tread as the ground is so uneven it is dangerous....Oh, and the shiny stand that you show in the photo doesnt even belong to them but to Erith & Belvedere who ground share.
