Each to their own mcan, personally even with Vicky in the smallest of dresses I wouldn't turn that on, actually, I may take a sneak peek at her, I do find her very cooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :P

Is SCD the program where the contestants start married/in a relationship and by the end of the program they have left them and are now sleeping with their new dance partner?

Did not know where to look tonight. The final "Last Leg" or the Proms, managed to watch both at the same time. Emotional night

Tremendous as usual, always enjoy the end of the Proms and this was as good as ever, so watched the Last Leg on 4+1. Have to say that show has been one of the highlights of the last 10 days for me, after a slow start. If Alex Brooker isn't doing more tv after this then I don't know what tv execs are watching.

All over, what a 6 weeks. And I never thought I'd enjoy the Paras so much, definitely a case of viewing them as another set of serious, proper athletes rather than an after thought event for 'lesser' competitors, which I think is how it used to be seen.

Proud of GB.

So BBC sports personality of the year - four Olympians thus far:

Wiggo
Ellie Simmons
Ben Ainsley
Jessica Ennis.

Eight to be announced, which will include Murray, Mo Farah, Trott, Kenny and McIlroy.

Hoy
McIlroy
Weir
Adams.

Not so sure. Hoy has won it before and should not be in at the expense of Kenny, Trott or Victoria.

Adams - well done and all that, but a single medal shouldn't cut it this year.

This year of all years there was going to be debate, even after the number has been increased to 12.

The only serious gripe i have is Trott, who should have been in, but in favour of who? Not Hoy who deseves it regardless of winning it before? Possibly Adams, but that was history in a way.

Lets face it, toughest call ever for a shortlist like this, normally the arguments are about who should win, this time the biggist debates are about who is left out. In many other years any of the 12 would be top 3, even winners no question.

Oliver Holt did his shortlist a few months ago (of 10, not 12).

A certain Mr Lampard was on his list.
