I'd be interested to know what it was like to see WH play with those three together.

How I wish I had the chance, even to see Brooking would have been a dream. Got to see Bonds very late in his career though.

I saw Bobby Moore play, possibly for a world XI against a celebrity team at East Ham Utd. The only other participants I can remember were George Best and the comedian Marty Feldman.

Around about the late 70's.

Saw Hurst and Moore play on many occasions,my first Hammers game was v Southampton August 1970, Peters had already left for Spurs by then (March 1970?) so never got to see the Holy Trinity of football in the flesh

Luckily for me I saw them play together many times.
Geno,Bonzo and Devo wasn't a bad trio to follow them in later years.

This is the only video I can find on You Tube with the 3 of them playing. Easy to forget how Redknapp was a key part of the team then.

It was obviously great but you have to break it down into 2 era's . Pre World Cup and post World Cup 66

Pre World Cup Geoff and Martin were simply good club players although it was plain to see Martin was going to be class . Bobby already was .

After 1966 they all stepped up to be world class and it was a great time to be a Hammer. Every West Ham fan took immense pride and satisfaction in having 3 World Cup winners and were'nt slow in reminding other clubs who won the cup

I saw the three of them play together for West Ham, and regard myself as being so very privileged to have done so. We all know how great a player and captain Mooro was, and also the scoring prowess of Hurst, but Peters was the most complete footballer of the three. He played in every position for the Hammers, and that includes goalkeeper. Oh, how we could do with three players like that now.. :raver:

I was lucky enough to have seen all three play on my first ever visit and many a time since.
I thought West Ham was always going to be like this.
I disagree slightly with the previous poster who said that Hurst only became World class post the World Cup, to me Hursts best two seasons were the two leading up to the World Cup finals.
Peters matured nicely but he still played his best football for us, Spurs were a little too regimented for Peters in my view, he was never quite the same player.

Saw Moore v. Derby,Sheff. Utd and Arsenal in 73/74. Saw Peters play at the Boleyn for Norwich in 76/77. Never saw Hurst but seeing Boogers years later makes up for that a little bit.
