Re: Sunderland v West Ham United: Match Thread
Would love to see this:
Jussi
Tomkins Collins Reid
Jarvis Noble Diarra JCole Taylor
Nolan
CCole
But then I'm obsessed with 3 at the back and Sam is a professional manager.
Some variation on 4-5-1/4-3-3 and a professional smash and grab it'll be then.

Good team, although I'd possibly swap Collison for Diarra. Wingers look good. Start C. Cole then bring on Chamakh when Cole's buggered.HammerMan2004 wrote:...................Jussi...................

Off on the long trip up north to Sunderland this weekend, stopping over in Darlington friday night for a night out with a couple of mates.
Drinking at Fitzgerald's before the game, Saturday hope to see some fellow Hammers in there.

Booked for this, was at the Newcastle match this season as well but was in the home end as I was using a mates season ticket, glad to be in the away end this time.

Re: Sunderland v West Ham United: Match Thread
Anything more than the draw would be an obvious bonus.
2 wins in one season in the North East - wonder when we last managed that?
Reckon Reid will be returned to the back 4.
So nice to have the game-changing options starting to line up for a place on the bench. Won't be surprised to see Chamakh get a few minutes late on.

----------Cole,C-----------
Subs: Spiegel, Tomkins, Potts, Nolan, Vaz Te, Chamakh, Taylor.
Think it's time Big Sam showed captain Kev he's not undroppable. Hopeful we can get something from this, just play like we did against Man U really...

Re: Sunderland v West Ham United: Match Thread
This could be grim viewing .Our away style hasn't been that attractive and Sunderland with O'Neill at the helm are redefining dull .
No more than 2 goals in the game , but as long as we get at least one of them I'll be happy .
----------------Finlands No.1 --------------------
Demel------Reid--------Collins--------JoB
----------------------Diarra------------------------
Jarvis----------Nolan--Noble ----------Cole
-----------------------Cole------------------------
Bench : Spiegel , Tomkins,Potts , Taylor, Chamakh,RvT, Collison
Upon reflection we're due an away win so I'm going 1-0 to us , and a better journey home .

Lets not feck this one up after that mighty manure match!
Although methinks that this may not (kind of) probably (sort of) maybe won't happen - probably, I think! Maybe?

Re: Sunderland v West Ham United: Match Thread
Just got the tickets for me and junior and I 'look forward' to the 497 mile round trip - or as AA route planner reckon - 10 hour drive... Still, it is 15 miles less than Nukecastle and if we can achieve the same outcome, the journey back will be relatively painless. But if we don't....

Is O'Brien fit for this? Or is Danny Potts going to have to start?
