How do you/we know what formation they are comfortable with?Exiledin cardiff wrote:Ozza I wonder if what you said about the kids would be the same if they were playing a formation they new and were comfortable with, what happened Sunday was like sending a computer programmer to re wire a house, all I can say is he set them up, hung em out to dry, and basically shat on the academy, give the boys a chance.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce insists he still has support from fans
SAM ALLARDYCE claims he still has the support of most West Ham fans.
By Paul Brown/Published 8th January 2014
The under-pressure Hammers boss (right) takes his side to Manchester City in the Capital One Cup semi-finals tonight.
But despite growing calls for his head from the West Ham faithful, Allardyce is convinced only a few want him out.
He said: "Most of the fans I meet are very positive.
They are not the minority who show their disapproval.

Yes, but close to a "representative" sample (granted, internet voting tends to be somewhat/rather biased even with high voting numbers). Almost 1200 votes so far...and counting.

Re: The Sam Allardyce Poll
No it isn't but its a poll of over a thousand people and until l meet someone that has conducted a survey involving more west ham fans then for me that poll is is the most accurate gauge we have.BMLGirl wrote: That is the KUMB poll, not most of our fans
Re: The Sam Allardyce Poll
I voted for him to stay. But wait and see what happens tonight and Saturday. I think if we lose on Saturday, with Noble and Carroll (potentially) back, he'll be running out of excuses. I know the centre halves are playing out of position but they've had time to play together and I really don't buy Diarra playing there (and hence losing another midfielder), seems to be doing more harm than good. So I want him to stay, but it could change very quickly if things don't look to be improving.
Re: The Sam Allardyce Poll
Hmm, that's interesting as Curbishley once mentioned getting c*nted off in the street and he's was trying to fix Pardew's mess at the time.

If you read the comments of people who have voted for him, I would not say this poll is a ringing endorsement of support..
Most have reluctantly voted to keep him in.. To me that is not support..

You could say that both ways - some that vote to get rid may have been reluctant in doing so.F.U.B.A.R. wrote:If you read the comments of people who have voted for him, I would not say this poll is a ringing endorsement of support..

The poll is clear and fair - this forum marginally supports him.

No it's not.
Those that voted No were unanimous in wanting him gone now.
A lot of people who voted yes have been saying "I just can't think of anyone else, so I voted yes."....

I reluctantly voted no... If I thought Sam could keep us up even by goal difference I'd keep him to build in the summer and for stability. But I think we need change to give ourselves a chance of survival, so reluctantly, I'm a no.West Ham Matt wrote:No it's not.

Absolute rubbish - which doesn't surprise me given your recent posting spout.West Ham Matt wrote:No it's not.

You have NO idea what is in the minds of any of the voters, other than your own and those that you ask.
It's a simple yes or no. Inevitably you will get those on the fence that go one way or the other. It works both ways.
It's a simple, fair poll, with a clear result - marginal support for Sam.
I am sure you'll respond to this post by repeating yourself - so that's all I have to say on it, I won't repeat it again.

I'm talking about actual support of the manager!wizzo_66 wrote:

I've excepted that the majority don't want to sack him... but when people say they only want to keep him because they can't think of anyone better.. I don't call that support...
Both ways?? Show me the other side, where people have voted him out that actually support him..

I disagree.wizzo_66 wrote:The poll is clear and fair - this forum marginally supports him.
Given the fact we are out of the FA Cup and second bottom of the division , I would suggest this forum is offering full support .
