Mouthy. Lacking any diplomacy. Doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut. No sense of humility nor respect. Like-father-like-son...........

His apology says 'Kevin didn't particularly deserve it'. Weasel words.

I only do about 3 aways a season but completely take your point. There's no point offering the discount for a game that's based in London. Spurs offered free coach travel for Burnley. Would be nice if there was a bit of a common sense approach applied to it. Maybe having a poll to ask what games fans would want the discount?Romford wrote:Also the cobblers about only having 400 there...must of been double that.
Still low for us but understandably so.
Does make you wonder why the club "thanks" it's away support with a tenner off Chelsea....with half the people going not being regular away fans...and nothing for this game.
I can't remember anyone from B.T praising those who went either? Would've been nice to see some acknowledgement given to you all

You're over analysing.
Bringing on defensive minded players for attack minded players was not an illogical move at the time, in a cup game. Pack the defence, restrict space, deny the opposition the chance to play.
Had he kept our attacking options on and pushed for a second goal and we drew 1-1 all would be lambasting him for not seeing the game out.
Everton had looked dangerous and created chances to score before Amalfitano and Valencia went off.
It was the mistakes for the goal not the change of tact that cost us.

Downing and Noble were running that game. I think I can almost use the internet claim of "Fact" in saying that Downing is a far better player for us in the middle rather than wide.
Given the above it was illogical to move him wide. The proof of that is how our midfield performed as a unit in the last 15 mins.
Would Van Gaal move Carrick to the wing? Would Pellergrini move Toure wide? You don't move your most influental players out of key positions to bring on a kid in that place.
Was a plain bad decision then , and after the event.

He didn't need to try to get a 2nd goal just to maintain a degree of control of the game. Taking Amalfitano off for O'Brien and moving Downing out of the centre gave them control IMO. I thought Allardyce set up the team well last night and we controlled decent periods because of that so credit to him. He will also have to take the flack though when his substitutions make us weaker.

From what i've heard...there were 2500 Northern Spurs at Burnley and not a london voice about. We just don't have that national support.hammers92 wrote:

Spurs always do cheap or free coach travel (£10 the most).....ours was £39 last night from the club and we had one Clarkes coach there.
The Horchurch coach was £35...but picks up at Bas, HX and places along the way (even at Coventry yesterday).
Still a £100 night after ticket, drinks and food and of course a cab from where the coach drops.
A lump for those travelling to Swansea 3 days later.....
Wonder how many who went to Chelsea will do both Everton and Swansea ??
Hence why the club were very wrong.

Approx 45 seconds before Lukaku scores I am looking at my phone ...
Corals going 7/1 the draw
1 I have a feeling usually associated with a creamy wee
2 I place a " decent bet " on Draw ...
3 About time OBrien joins Reid in pile up ..mobile tell me " Betting Suspended "
4 I swear
5 Belgian scores his customary goal
6 I swear again

It popped into my head today at work and had to laugh, what else could I do. Was fuming last night over that for ages. You wouldn't even get that rash on a Sunday league game. What the ****ing hell was he thinking?????
