Spurs wont set up like West Brom did.
If we have Winston or Ginge back and move Kouyate to his usual position we will be a very different side from today.

If we play Nolan, Noble and Song in the same team they will murder us. They have a very athletic midfield at the moment, we need to match up with them on that. If Collins and Reid are still out chuch Henry in.

won't happen if we have two fit CBs. kouyate is nailed on.

noble at the base of the diamond, song playing further up as a link man alongside kouyate to carry the water.

no thanks. we're safe as houses with no cup to worry about, so we might as well go out and try to get a couple of scalps.

So 8 days to recover.
8 days to realise that Spuds will do the same thing as WBA but faster and better. Move the ball around in midfield and shoot from distance.
So we have to be less static and stop hoofing it to the little guys up front.
Drop Nolan and feed Downing and get full backs forward. (I think the latter has been key to our recent drop in performance - Cresswell and Jenkinson look exhausted).

Spurs are playing really well. They do this thing called playing to the strengths of their personnel.

My prediction: Carnage. 3-0 or worse to Spurs.

Every year a team has a good first half of the season and then gets found out in the second. It's our turn for it to happen this year.

I'm gonna make sure to pick Kane as my fantasy football captain this week. We play anything like yesterday and it'll be 3 or 4-0

We've been the better team in the last four match ups, winning three of them.

At full strength, a point is the bare minimum that we should expect.

Adebayor to score anytime is the optimal sod's law bet if in their squad.

A loss here and the season over.

Where we go after this loss will define if BFS gets a new contract. I can just see the season fading out Curbs style.

Happy days. At least the Pub opens at 8am to make watching us away from home bearable despite our current style and performance. Makes even having to watch that useless lump Nolan kinda amusing.

Shudder.

The only thing I can ask is that we give it a go and make it tough for Tottenham. If we get something out of it great, as I'm expecting a defeat.

Sam is a stat man and he should be aware that we have lost more when Nolan and Noble start together, so this should not happen.

I'm seriously worried we may get slaughtered in this one. However, as I've got to work and can't go, there is a good chance we'll win!

The game I least look forward to all season .The match itself I normally enjoy, cracking competitive stuff , it's all the nonsense that goes on around it I find sad .

Anyway, the joy of football is anything can happen , it's the unpredictable nature of it that makes it exciting .

Logic says we would need to be decent to get anything from it , but to hell with logic .

8 days off , time to recharge the batteries , and go for broke .

All out attack, fullbacks bombing on, Carlton getting a brace . we go home happy .

Him jogging around in space in midfield in front of the Spuds defenders is what you will see of him. Be good to see him take up a goal scoring position for once, let alone score
