Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread.
This one already has the stench of a 0-1 defeat written all over it. Uncertainty over Big Sam's position and no sound bites coming out from the board is filtering down to the players. In a dreadful and uninspiring end of season game of few chances, I can even see how Stoke's winner will come about, courtesy of a glancing header from somebody like Glen Whelan getting above our static defenders and diverting a set play free kick goal wards in front of Stoke's travelling support.

I on the other hand see us bouncing right back with a great performance and a comfortable win

I expect to see us at least attempt to play the kind of football we did while on our purple patch.

Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread.
Why should I be bothered to make a 250 mile round trip when our illustrious board, the manager and the players have given up the season already,
Oh now I remember I love this club I want to see us do well, but I'm not spending £250 quid for the pleasure of watching yet another insipid performance.
A resounding 1-1 draw at best.
I'm going fishing instead,

They won't convert 3 of their sum total of 4 chances and half chances they will get in the entire 90 minutes, but I do think they will convert one of them. The one that counts and ultimately will cost us. As for us, I think you see a poor, lifeless, disjointed, stuttering display and this thread going into meltdown from 4:55 onwards on SaturdayRyanWHUFC wrote:West Ham 1 Stoke 3

Stoke will be more up for it than us. 1-0 to them. We will limp home to 12th/13th which will undoubtedly be 'success' in some people's eyes.

Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread.
Would like us to completely change the line up for this one....
Adrian
Demel
Reid
Collins
O'Brien
Poyet
Kouyate
Amalfitano
Nene (tip of diamond)
Cole
Valencia
Let's get some different players on the pitch and see what they can do. Can't do any harm and would least make the game mildly interesting

Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread.
Couldn't care less what happens here. Our season is already over. At least we are safe though. Imagine being in this terrible form needing points to stay up. No thanks!
Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread.
I have a bad feeling about this one I just can't see us winning this all I can see is another inept performance with a 0-1 result with the boo's echoing around the ground come ft and this forum will probably crash.
Is Valencia back for this? Sakho looks lost without him it would get the best out of him and offer us some pace going forward.

We will lose.
It'll be hard work making the trip, but we'll have a laugh either way.

Impossible to call this one.
All depends on whether Sam can get the players motivated and our tactics each half don't recipricate France's during WW2.
