Heavitree Social Centre 9/10 ... Would be a straight 10 if adge the barman wasn't a Spurs fan. (can I say that)

The Spice of life- Soho.
7/10
Had a lovely pint of "Festive Boot Warmer" real ale. 5.2%
The chairs were very rickety, but had some fun listening to a couple having a barney. She was getting louder and he was getting embarrassed

My local residents club.
It was good as there's a fair few Chelsea fans in there.
And it's only £2.60 a pint

The Dairy Maid, Aylesbury.
2/10
Quite frankly an embarrassment to itself and the town, although it's not the worst pub here. It only get's more than 1 because the barmaid was talent and the cheap food is actually not complete ****.

I stress this was Friday and not this morning, but:
The Conquering Hero Upper Norwood.
Went up there with the missus and 4 other friends. Marked high for their selection of ales and snacks, but lose a point for the dire white wine they served (the missus).

Sunday x 2.
The Trafalgar in Tooting
5/10
Just been tarted up. Decent enough food, expensive and uninspired beer selection. Safe option if you have a child in tow as neither the staff or other customers seem to mind. Football was on with sound off.
The Traf in South Wimbledon
9.5/10
A proper pub. Excellent and well priced beer. No food aside from pork pies. No children allowed.
(Great thread!)

The Mitre, Buckingham. 9.5/10
Five well kept ales, five TVs, cheerful and entertaining West Ham supporting landlord. Best pub in town.
But then I do own the place.

the Alma in Islington 9/10
That's at the opposite end of the road to my work...it used to be known as 'the star wars bar' because of all the wronguns in there due to the market licence (early open hours). I have had some very, very funny nights/days in there.
It has only recently been spruced up but never did I think I'd see the day it was given a 9/10 rating!
