Does anyone know any of the pub landlords or owners from the local pubs/cafes around Upton Park?
I imagine many of them relied on the Boleyn ground (whether it was match days, staff, guests in the hotel etc.).
Just wondering what's going to happen to them? Many have been there for decades. Close shop or try and adapt?

That's what I suspected, and clearly they won't be able to afford to relocate near Olympic stadium.
It's a shame but inevitable I suppose.

The Boleyn is offering fans discount drinks and coach ride to and from the OS on match days for £120 per season.
Hopefully it's enough to keep it afloat.

- Businesses based around West Ham United’s current home say they are facing a battle for survival as the club prepares to move to the Olympic Stadium next season.
Cafes and pubs which see a surge in customers on match days fear they will not be able to stay open without their boost from football fans.
They include Nathan’s pie and mash shop in Barking Road, a family business that has spanned four generations and counts former West Ham players and managers including Rio Ferdinand and Harry Redknapp among its regulars.

The Boleyn pub, which had served beers to hundreds of thousands of fans over the years, will also be hit. A barmaid said: “On match days we have 25 extra staff on and serve hundreds upon hundreds of pints every hour.
