France v Republic of Ireland
Very concerned for Payets wellbeing with this one.
Did you see some of those tackles the Irish made on the Italians the other evening.
The media here in Ireland, think that the Irish players have to 'get at the French', be physical and intimidating to stand any chance of winning.
Sounds like it could get messy!!!!!!!!!!!!
James McCarthy - remember him - will be thier midfield enforcer.
For Payets safety, lets hope he's rested.

Hard to know how Ireland will set up for this one.
I suspect there will be a recall or two after the Italy game, but only one or two. Perhaps O'Shea and Whelan.

Also, it seems that the Irish are get 5k of the available tickets.
A complete joke, and not the first time we have been screwed in France in the past decade.

If I was French, I'd storm the Bastille demanding an invasion of Ireland if Payet was injured due to a McCarthy scissor.

If McCarthy injures Payet the French will be the least of Ireland worries, there will be repercussions!!!ironsjh wrote:If I was French, I'd storm the Bastille demanding an invasion of Ireland if Payet was injured due to a McCarthy scissor.

Re: France v Republic of Ireland
Would be brilliant if Ireland won this, but I don't think they've got the goods v France.

It's amazing how quickly Payet has become integral for France, without him they'd look pretty ordinary and lacking in creativity. He really is the key to them winning it.

Ref waving cards about, this is unlikely to finish with 22 on the pitch at current rate.

When did the Irish become a diving, cheating anti-football side? Horrible to watch!
