Re: Hungary v Belgium
De Bruyne was involved in the build up there also...
The pair of these in form can take Belgium all the way.

Yes, but it could have been very different if Hungary scored one of these chances. Belgium fall asleep every game, and it will cost 'em dear in a game rather sooner than later. nevertheless, they have been very good today. Can still see Wales causing an upset though.il_martello_di_genovesi wrote:Hazard has been very good indeed...
I can't see how Belgium don't get to the final if they can put in these kind of performances from now on.
Playing with a lot of intensity, I would be surprised if you don't add a couple more.

Re: Hungary v Belgium
This tournament has been awful because of this additional round.
Poor teams ruining the group stages to sneak through for a thrashing in the knock out stage.
What's the point?

Re: Hungary v Belgium
Pure virtuoso performance from Hazard. Sensational stuff...the bloke is some player.
Re: Hungary v Belgium
Belgium still giving a few too many chances away at the back that better players may finish
Hazard was superb and De Bruyne played deeper but played some lovely passes out
Lakkau to me isn't a top world class striker, lacks the all-round game, feel like at times De Bruyne and Hazard are disappointed with some of his runs and movement, think Bayshuayi would be better for them as he is more lively.

Not sure that applies to Hungary. Were possibly the most entertaining side of the group stage.Billydinho wrote:This tournament has been awful because of this additional round.

Still buzzing, first time we played on the level we all think our Belgian team could reach.
What a blessing in disguise could the loss against Italy turn out te be.
Not only it woke up our players, but now we are at the right end off the table.
Still i would love Batchuayi up front for Lukaku.
Lukaku doesnt fit the system, not a topstriker

Re: Hungary v Belgium
The Belgium we all thought could be finally turned up, they play like that they are going to be hard to stop.
Hazard & De Bruyne were superb, being marshalled well by their midfield.
Still find it very strange that one of the best CB pairings in the PL are not in place for the International set up.
