Re: Poland v Portugal
He doesn't look at all like himself. He looks so stiff when trying to run at pace. I bet he's still carrying that end of season injury.simon hammer wrote:Extra time it is then.
Ronaldo...so poor for Portugal!
Bet he nets the winner now.

Re: Poland v Portugal
Ronaldos been so poor this match, but what makes me laugh is when he´s shouting at his teammates and blaming them for all sorts.
He reminds me of the hypocrite guy everybody hated on your team that blamed everyone else than himself.

Re: Poland v Portugal
Problem w/ Portugal, or one of them at least, is that no one has the balls to call him on his antics when he's playing like this. And they always look for him first at the expense of the phase of play more often than not. At some point someone needs to say f*** this, I'm having a go.

Maybe he'll treat us with another penalty miss. I want Poland as well but they seem to have stopped playing. This match started well and took a steady downward trajectory after the half.simon hammer wrote:Probably Pete.
I'd have subbed him by now, but then I want Poland to win!

Yep and this is why I think they won´t win the tournament. Don´t get me wrong he´s a fantastic player but a one man show rarely works out through a whole tournament.WCpete wrote:Problem w/ Portugal, or one of them at least, is that no one has the balls to call him on his antics when he's playing like this. Re: Poland v Portugal
If the Welsh can find a way past Belgium then the final is in their reach, Portugal are nothing special at all (in fact even England might have been better off playing them)

Re: Poland v Portugal
Two very average sides and it'll be two very average sides in the semis, whoever they get. Thank you Platini.
I'm fully expecting Portugal to fluke their way to the title now. They were so so poor in the groups but as soon as they ****ed through and got that side of the draw I had a feeling.

Re: Poland v Portugal
Nodded off during extra time, woke briefly with the score 4-3 to Portugal on penalties. Did I miss anything ?

And, at no point during the tourney had Poland been behind in a match.thejackhammer wrote:Through to the semis without winning a game. That's just ridiculous.
