It should be fun, and hopefully a great atmosphere, but I think we will come up short. 1-2.

Someone should open a book on what might happen.

A thrashing, a heroic win, John ****ing Terry, a riot, cops' radios, full, half empty, segregated, infiltrated??

I'll go for a damp squib and penalties.

Feeling quite nervous about this...and not for the result or the likely trouble...but the atmosphere in the ground. For me this is the night when we find out if we really can get a proper atmosphere inside this stadium...was never going to be right from the off but if it's not rocking on Wednesday night then I'd be very worried about playing in that stadium going forwards...

I know what you mean....if we can't get up for this game then we might as well not bother being there! Personally I think it's going to be a belting atmosphere. Can't wait actually!....

I didn't think much of them when they played us on the opening day.

We contained them pretty well until Antonio's brain fart, and in the last 20 we had them rocking until Costa scored when he should have already been sent off.

If we had a half decent cf, I'd make us favourites.

I cannot wait for this

Zaza with the winner (because that's the kind of thing this club does)

Looking forward to this. A real chance to boost confidence if we play well.

Expecting to hear them sing your ground's too big for you.

Really disappointing seeing the number of seats still available.

As opposed to what? Sorry but I hate that phrase.

Literally (and I mean literally in its literal sense) hundreds of tickets left all over the shop, apart from the away end.

Could be embarrassing on and off the pitch. :thdn:

The ticket office were requiring a record of three previous purchases before selling you a ticket, yesterday. If I hadn't been getting fed up with the ridiculous wait, I might have been amused by the girl requiring the bloke if front of me to do this when he wanted to buy them against his ST.

3-1 Chelski and a 45k crowd.

How many tickets have they been given?

Costa misses the game if he gets booked today. He will get booked because Conte will play Batshuayi and it will free Costa from missing a league game.

Wouldn't worry too much about that, this mob regularly fail to sell out at home in the Champions League.

I'm going to be bold and predict a 2-1 win

------------------Randolph

---------Reid----Kouyate--Ogbonna

Antonio------Obaing---Noble-------Cresswell

--------Lanzini----Fletcher----Payet

0-3 and trouble on and off the pitch, I really don't think this is going to go well, but we'll bounce back from this in the league, that's my gut feeling.

I think we will see quite a performance from us in this one. We can afford to relax a bit, enjoy ourselves and put in a decent shift. Bilic will bring the changes and give a run out to a few of our players returning from long lay offs. I think Ayew will make his long overdue home debut and knock in a goal and Sakho to get on the score sheet too. Gonna go 3-2 Irons

I always find that teams good on the counter attack with their wide men such as Chelsea are, we should scrap the 3 at the back as I'm doubting it'll work.
